How To Customize Space Ghost Mcfarlane

This video will focus on how to customize Space Ghost using Mcfarlane figures. For other details you can watch some of the other videos for custom capes and disassemble.
Sand the boot cuffs, remove the chest emblem. Fill the chest with epoxy or your choice of putty. Primer white to then paint white.
Dremel off the bat ears /rivets and Sculpt the back of the head as this is part of half. Sand and then add putty on the inside to set to the neck.
Add shading using light blue with an airbrush, hold at an angle and spray from the bottom up. Tone it down with white where needed.
Seal with Liquitex matte varnish
The belt buckle is a strip of brass covered in Tamiya x-27 red. Airbrush is best way to apply it...... allow to dry 4 hours before working with it.
The cape has one single wire inside.... create a wire pocket .... practice on a scrap before attempting the final product.

Man, this is awesome beyond words. Space Ghost has always been a personal favorite of mine and this is just great. A lot of these kids of today will never realize how awesome Space Ghost and other hero Hannna Barbara characters were. Great job. 👻👻

This is too cool. I always wanted a custom figure universe for the Hanna & Barbera characters. I told myself its ambitious but if I can get my hands on a haslab sentinel I would use that as the base for Frankenstein Jr.

I was searching for a custom Space Ghost to try to create my own 1/6 scale. Great ideas on the blue mixed in the white. Love the cape tutorial. I would've liked to see how you executed the head and chest logo. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

@@InkDropCustoms I have a pretty good Space Ghost figure that came out a few years back that is pretty nice, but I wish Macfarlane would someone would do one kinda like yours very detailed and looking kick ass and cool. I would love to see a Space Ghost movie, but I don't want them to make him more of a comic relief like they do sometimes to some of the lesser known heroes I want him to be Bad Ass like he should be.
Yes a live action movie would be cool with a darker tone, not fond of the comedic style versions of Space Ghost

That's how I make my capes but I just thread my wire through the first seem
I usually make a second seam on the inside to hide the wire and seam but this needed a wire at the bottom so I stitched on the outside. I normally don’t use wire at the bottom edge as you can never get a relaxed pose ever again…
