Those first chapters may stand alone as a short story. It might be worth revisiting them and seeing if it's worth polishing and submitting somewhere! Whatever you do, keep writing! ✍ Thanks for the comment!! 😄
For me, I struggle with too many ideas. These ideas can either be separate stories (or a series) or I can weave them together to create one large series. It's very frustrating trying to plot it all out. If I write "this" story, than the other idea can be a prequel but do I really want to do that? So many ideas and don't know how to separate them and just start writing something. Truly annoying.
Get a fork binder, preferably A5 because it's smaller and easier to carry around - and an A5 notepad where you can scribble down your ideas and then tear written pages off the notepad and add them to the fork binder. A fork binder basically enables you to collect and categorize all your stuff any way you please and you don't have to leave "empty pages" like you do in a notepad. After months of struggling (actually years) this is the most efficient system I have come up with so far, though 'm still struggling. Ultimately you will have a binder filled with all your best ideas and conveniently indexed by story for easy overview.
I just started my book last summer and am constantly writing. But I just keep coming up with ideas that get in the way of me finishing chapters. Thanks for the advice🙏🏼
I’m trying to write a fanfic story but I have so many ideas. It’s about how these twin sisters were found by another character who teaches them how to act like a princess and a heroine. The other version of them is in another world where one of them is protecting a boys heart from evil. I’m trying to figure out which one I want to do
have to disagree with the physical vs digital; I've had a lot of good ideas just by typing and because I type more than I write, the process is just faster. Really, typing keeps up with my racing ideas
I have wrote 4 books at once for five years. This means I have completed the first chapters of thousands of books, yet finished none. 🤓😲😦😢😭😔

I can definitely relate to that

thanks for sharing. I think this is really going to help me. I usually fill notebooks with random characters and plots but never in an organized way.
You are very welcome! Thank you for the comment!
Gotta try
Thanks for the advise. It's great to hear im not the only one with the issue.
Thank you for the comment! You're very welcome! Keep writing 👏📝

I have trying to write my system novel where the protagonist gets reincarnated as a snake and gets a system.
That sounds like a super interesting story!

Great idea, thanks for sharing your process :)
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with your ideas! 📝
Love your vid btw, you're underrated....
Wow thank you for this!
Why am I so weird? I rarely write ideas but I still get it.... What's wrong with my brain?
You're not weird! It's really hard to make a habit of writing ideas down. Keep at it!
@@theelliotchan thanks man...
I suffer a lot... I mean I story and chance everyday... It's really hard...
Keep at it! The harder it is, the sweeter the reward.
