Thank you, one thing I’ve started doing since I made the video was start spraying down the cable with wd40 as it likes to rust and make sure to keep the drain open on the drum and on the bottom
Great tool I recently got one and it worked great. I just let a friend borrow it for there tub. I shared your video as how to use it since your video was the clearest and straight forward I found. 👍👍👍👍👍
I have a clog somewhere between the toilet and the shower. (Yeah the toilet's backing up into the shower - first floor/slab.) Is it better/easier to g through the toilet and down or the shower? I suspect it's caught at the join. I'll likely have unclogged it by the time you see this, but appreciate your input and your video. Just bought one of these.
PhillyWiz just used it to clear a clog for my brothers kitchen sink. It’s not something I use everyday, but when I need it, it’s sure nice to have! Thanks for watching
Nice... I have all Dewalt tools, But I did not want to buy a $300 Dewalt drain tool for minimal use so I bought the Ryobi drain cleaner tool only and then I bought a Dewalt to Ryobi battery adapter… That way I did not have to buy a Ryobi battery and charger just for one tool that will rarely get used, but nice to have when you need it
Hi Steve, you really shouldn't use rubber gloves with a power auger, they can get caught and wrap around the snake causing injury, you need a good pair of leather gloves.
That’s a good tip, I would go a step further and say good tight fitting leather gloves. I had loose gloves on before and it just almost caught it while snaking a main a few years ago
It’s not about speed . More speed in time it will damage the pipe . Slow and steady. I use to have a snake that I have to turn my hand for 7 yrs it was a pain . I got a m12 power Milwaukee. It’s similar and does the job
You are right! I think at this time I made the video I got the bright idea to record a video after the clog was already cleared, I think that was my reasoning and a sleeping newborn I didn’t want to wake! This bad boy has served me well for the duration I’ve owned it. Thanks for commenting
@@steverone7623 I checked, and they do not sell it anymore. They last sold an endoscopic camera 7 to 9 years ago. Because that is what I found on UA-cam. It is weird that they don't, because the are made by the same manufacturer as milwaukee. That is "TTI".
nice tool however this guy doesn't not know how to operate the equipment maybe call a plumber next time.. reverse is not for pulling the snake out the pipe it's for dodging the tip when it gets stuck only
Mike Evans ok so you make a video showing exactly how it’s done and I’ll criticize you. Comment section is full of people I helped so go pound sand pal
Great video, I am glad this was a how to use video and not some silly 20-minute unboxing.
Thanks for watching! Was just something quick I threw together. I use mine every 6 months as preventive maintenance.
After clearing the drain i turn on the water to clear the debris off the snake cable. Amazing video and getting leather gloves for it as well.

Love this tool I had a clog and made the investment now all my drains are clear awesome video
Thank you! I have used mine multiple times since the video, convinced my brother he needs one and I’m going to have to clear my tub drain soon!

Try the tub first so you don’t have to worry about resetting the toilet
Great video. I have same one and it’s worked wonders on small and big clogs
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the great video! Kudos!
Thanks for sharing. My kitchen sink is not draining, tried this tool and fed the whole thing in but still not draining. Any thoughts or tips
Is the kitchen sink the only drain not draining? I believe this cable is only 25ft you might need a longer cable to reach the blockage
@@steverone7623 yes it's just the kitchen sink
Iam a Milwaukee guy. But the price and proformance of this ryobi got me wanting one

Same here, I got one of these but had an Issue with the Auto-feed. Only used it a couple times. We'll see if it works again.
That the worse product machine in this world

I’m going to get one tomorrow

Yes it works great to feed out and in

Ugly gloves are the best gloves for snaking but rubber gloves are fine as long as you’re careful or wear double rubber gloves like two pairs at once
Hell Yea Koo review Bro!

I think it would be great if it had the option for manual and a camera attached to it.
Ryobi already have the cameras! They just need to put them together

How many feet is the cable?
I believe 25ft but they now make a “commercial model” that’s battery or electric and I believe that has 50ft

What's the difference? If you do it slowly and carefully it shouldn't hurt anything.
How does it do in 2" pipe ?
Works great I’ve cleared a few clogs in 1.5”-2” pipe since this video the newer version of the snake I believe has different ends you can swap on
