The cheap client thing is soooo true. The more you lower your value, the lower people perceive you and they treat you less than what you know you're worth. I learned the in my second business, so I always refer price hagglers to someone else, they NEVER make good clients

    • @kevinswackyworld

so true. I started selling websites in college for about Rs 1200 (20 USD). At that time, I was only thinking about my expense and how everyone will buy it instantly (since it is so cheap).
That never worked till the time I charged less (I was working professionally at office, etc.). Now I sell software to larger companies for Rs 1 Million (15000 USD) and they don't even blink an eye (I obviously dress formal, etc. but my skills haven't improved that much).
And its a decent amount of money in India without the daily 10 hour grind with long commutes.

    • @iphoneconpolenta541

I agree 100%, plus cheap clients always take more time and are harder to deal with than the money they payed is worth.

I always appreciate interviewers who let their subjects speak, without interruption & without having to bring the attention back to themselves. Radio hosts are the worst about that. It's really noticeable to me when subjects are allowed to speak in paragraphs - how else would you learn from them without giving them space to create their world for you to get a glimpse of?

It seems as if you're giving up too quickly on your business. They don't build overnight. The business is usually going to take a year or two until you make profits. Anyone who claims that you can run a business with no capital isn't aware of what it really takes.
Don't create a business just to be a business owner. Create a business that actually fills a need and solves the problems that you know you're great at.

MY BIGGEST TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS INTERVIEW:
Add value first before asking for something in return
Find a mentor and learn everything you can from him/her.
It's not really about how much effort you put. It's about picking the right vehicle.
Success is getting what you want.
Significance is giving what you got.
I'm glad I found this interview.
    Thanks Omar.

And if he had put a female name on that flyer that's all just a female name he WOULD have had calls not from people who wanted their lawns mowed but from perverts. It's really weird to me that's all it takes is your female first name, you could be 700 pounds for all they know from your first name but you WILL get a call from someone asking for sex if you put out a flyer offering to teach English, babysit, read tarot cards whatever. So be warned on that one. Put your initials. Good thing is though with the internet you don't have to rely on selling to your local community.

Hes a fake and a scammer, look up coffeezilla on youtube look for Dans video he screwed many people over and his money comes from courses. His high ticket sales income is from the people he scams from his courses.

Saw many videos created by Dan Lok but this is the one that really got me....the one that truly reveals who DL is and how humane he was and is throughout...! No matter how much money any self made man makes, at the end of the day its who you are and how you treat people....How do YOU want to be remembered..?? Great Video!
