Without doubt, one of the best spectacles put on by any preserved line in the UK, and I missed it Mike, so thanks for allowing me to see it again....Bob
I was there for 3 days ( b & b in Llangollen ) so I had time to locate the best view points. Crowds were a problem too, that's why I paid the farmer to use his field. I thought why go all that way and miss a cracking shot for five pounds. Also I'd planned a quick route to get to the next 2 stops on the cavalcades return to Llangollen, Yes, it was a good day. I may download some more from my weekend when time allows. Mike in the very wet Vale of Glamorgan 31,12,11,
I don't think they'll have another one of these events; so expensive now, and too many photographers didn't buy a single ticket, I even paid the farmer to go into his field
Can't you count ! It starts at 2.00 mins on my video; clearly 10...get someone to check your counting ability !! I even run it again for you................maybe too much sun for you today

I was there. I was standing near the telegraph pole just outside the station. Not the group of three. The one underneath Mayflower at 02:26.

What a gathering!
The farmer charged to enter his field, but well worth the £5 to be away from the crowds
Mike Wilcock Ah! Well, it certainly paid off. Excellent shots! Especially of the two Churchward 4-4-0s.
@KinletHallsthebest OK. Thanks.
Sounds like the Clangers coming down from the moon or a heard of elephants :P

What loco had the chime whistle?
Mayflower did i have no clue why
I think they had a maintenance work on the loco that’s why mayflower didn’t have the proper B1 whistle
Do It Again LR this time i`ll come
It would take a very long time to turn all those locos
i understand that but maybe different locos or something else
