Fly fishing a nice piece of water for salmon on a cold day

- In this video I explore a new piece of river that I suspect has salmon, coho in particular. I'm fishing my CSO Stave 9ft 8wt fly rod and I get one hookup that comes off - probably a snag so it's good it came off quickly. My friends showed up, I got the drone up in the air for some beautiful aerial footage, and I even tried trout fishing. One friend got a massive chum salmon as bycatch while targeting coho, and that was it for a very cold morning of fishing!

October! I found out from friends that were higher up river that they had a killer morning lol I was in the wrong spot!! Maybe next fall we can meet up for a fish :)
