I used the cut up residue after installing vinly floor tile, so that eliminated having to break it down in a blender. But every other process was identical to you! 4 colors gave excellent variety and the thought: mix a small batch is perfect wisdom! Just proceed mixing without cleaning the bowl aids in blending. Just like in nature. Excellent demonstration, my lady!!❤❤❤
Now that's going to be really useful for my grandson to try, he's just enjoyed watching the video. He can have a go at making some foliage ready for his layout, speaking of which we have built the baseboard. So now we can play about with ideas. Cheers James 🙂👍
Cheers for sharing...I have had plastic trees sitting in bags and I occasionally dust them in scatter foam yet I am still not happy....but not because of the foam...the trees are cheap and uniform (unlike nature)we sometimes use carpet underlay for the blended bit... Cheers for your spin on this process. Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. Yes, plastic trees - what can I say! I'm going to be releasing a video on how to make trees from scratch very shortly - let me know what you think!
@@modelrailwayquestDawn you have very sexy arms, I love it when you flaunt your bare arms; I would absolutely love to see you wearing a pair of disposable shoulder-length examination gloves 😍
Great work. Thanks for sharing. The only thing i do differenf is add PVA/Mod Podge. Now mine is for wargaming terrain which is the reason for the glue. I have an N guage set from when i was small, which i keep toying with the idea of building onto a board.
Outstanding presentation Dawn, you pitched it at the right level with explain, tell and show and so well articulated plus bags of enthusiasm thrown in. I've always bought my materials for trees and hedges, but no more. Thanks for inspiring my change in direction. Keep up the good work with your videos.
I used kits from a company called In the Greenwood laser and have then modified them. In my video on Laser Cut kits I explain some of the pros and cons... and I'll be making a video soon about how to do a number of different modifications to make them unique.
Your video is excellent. I’m making scenery today and you are my guide. Thank you so much for your expertise.
You’re very welcome! How did you get on with the scenery?

Hi, I’m from México City, i like yours lessons
Thank you! Welcome aboard and Hi to Mexico City!
I noticed in the UK there's a much stronger culture of making materials like this from scratch for cheap.

Thanks Stephen - I do love Mod Podge! And... do it, build a board, and then send pictures! :-)
Very nice presentation'..
Thanks a lot

Thank you Chris - that's lovely feedback!
Can you tell me where you buy your bottle of IPA
very well documented on here, anything new?
Are the buildings behind you scratch built or from a kit?

The director sounds a bit unfriendly.
If you've seen the Brief Encounter video, you'll know why ;-)
