The instructions say to put the hazard lights on for 30 seconds for the BCM to “learn” the new lights. This supposedly stops the fast flash on your indicator.
I usually read the instructions on everything but only followed the install instructions. I must have missed that I believe I still have them I will check and if I find it I will mention it in a follow up video. Thank You very much for bringing this to my attention. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Do they fit flush all the way around when they snap in. I just got a set and when I get them to click in at the bottom I still have a small gap around half of the lens. About enough to get a finger nail in between.
It is nothing to worry about it is because the led do not have a high resistance I believe. I was just curious if Harley put something in to not make it happen.
Thanks Tim . I am sure it has something to do with $ maybe over there it’s required to be led for the rears. Strange they don’t do the front also. Thanks again for everything Tim. Glad I started doing UA-cam I have met some great people on here.
New subscriber here, really enjoying your videos. I really like the look of the bike without the fairing. Do I need anything to remove mine and make it look like yours ?
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl thanks and what about the nut itself? I just watched your video on the removal and you swapped for a different nut. Also would you happen to have a link or part number for the plug ?
@@Zach-cg7dw you are correct I forgot you need the regular nut also. I may have left the part number in the description of the video im at work now so I don’t have any info with me. I could not find it anywhere on line even through Harley I had to have the dealer get it. Some people have said there is an aftermarket on eBay but I have not found it yet.
Hey Carl. I have a 21 iron 1200. Thanks for all the videos. I have spent all winter upgrading and your how to videos helped big time. I bought these same lights, for some reason I have NO hyper flash. Not sure what the difference between years.
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl Turn your ignition on, don't start it, then activate four ways and turn off ignition. Turn ignition on again and hyper flash should be gone. Might take a few attempts. The system needs to acquaint itself with the lesser draw, of the led lights, from your battery.
If it is CAN bus (2014 and up if I recall) you can relearn the ECU as stated in one of the comments here. If it isn't CAN BUS system you need a load resistor for the hyper flash
They look really cool! Thanks for
Sharing
Thanks for watching!!!
Very good Carl
I will have a video out within a week about fixing the hyperflash with them.
Thanks Carl for such clear instructions 🙌🏼
No problem I love them. Thanks for watching.

Thank you
NP I Love them
Hey, thanks for the video. Would have been great to see what it looks like with brakes on and one indicator on.
Yeah I should do a walkaround video and show them. Thanks for checking it out I appreciate it.
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl That would be appreciated! Even if it was a short not a full upload.
Short is up
Had these on my Iron 883. Loved ‘em. But when I got my ‘19 Road Glide, just the front lights were available-no rears.😢
They always seem to be in and out of stock. But I do Really like them
Thx alot gd info
Np thanks for checking it out
Those brake lights do look sharp! Still on the fence on the front turn signals being white then amber. Thanks for sharing the info.
No problem I absolutely love them! Thanks for watching.
Hi pls let me know if any rubber seal are requested for this turn led signal?
I only used what came with the lights I didn’t purchase any additional seals.

I would say mine fit nice and tight. Thanks for checking out my video.
Is there a screwdriver slot to get the new bulbs off if neccessary?
I will check that tomorrow and let you know. Good question
Yes there is I was just able to check
I couldn't find the hole on my rear indicator. I can't seem to take it off. Any tips??
It should be a slot in the lens. What is your bike?
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl 2021 iron 1200 LED rear indicators
I am not sure if they changed anything in 2021. They are not led from the factory are they?
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl Mine is stock LED from the factory. However the fronts are bulbs without running lights. Sucks for me
Yeah they are probably sealed then.
Gotta keep em separated! 😎🤙
Lol thanks for watching.
Did I see you on the NY Thru Way yesterday?
That was not me. I have been sticking around the new house exploring new roads and places.
Nice upgrade! Thinking on do this to my bike, but what the quick blink on the dash means?

They look good and easy install. We get rear LED as standard on all our Harley's here I wonder why you guys don't. Good video Carl and welcome back 👍

Has anyone used these turn signals with the team dynamics, magic, strobe module ?
The module has a warning about to high a amperage from some lights
I am not familiar with that module maybe someone will comment.
Sorry talk to text error that custom dynamics magic strobe module

Just the plug for the headlight nut. You need to get it from Harley. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I am going to try it.
I put them in and they threw all kinds of diag codes
Really I didn’t have any problems with them on my sportster.
