Shame of West Indies Cricket Board and prejudices against Indo-caribbean cricketers. West Indies dropped Chanderpaul in England and three test matches remaining where he could have easily broken Lara's most test runs by a West Indian. 87runs to surpass Lara and 147 be the only west indian to 12000.

The players that were failing were young upcoming players that deserved to be given more time but having a slower and old Chanderpaul on the team was starting to become a liability. Its not like he didnt get his chances to do it...he got more than enough chances. The time had come for him to go. The team and nation is more important than the individual. Keeping him there would mean he would be blocking a spot for a young upcoming player all in the name of getting the most runs record? He is a great player and although you think it was unfair to him, it is also very unfair to keep a failing old player resulting in blocking the spot of a new upcoming younger talent. You need to view things from both sides of the coin
