Wow! August 2018. This was before the world knew you and Pluto, and you were still the "unreknowned wildlife photographer". This is awesome!!! I'm guessing the elephant was very aware he was around humans. I would have totally freaked with a male elephant flapping his ears at my feet. Amazing courage on your part for staying calm and getting this footage. And thank you for sharing it with us.
I did notice your toes first then the hole in the elephants ear. When he was coming towards you his face looked so gentle. His eyes were so gentle too. What an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing. ❤🐘
That ear hole makes such a distinctive mark. I’m guessing you’ve never seen him again but have any of the guides from the area? Would it have been dangerous for you to speak gently to him I wonder? What a fabulous experience! Thank you for sharing.
