It's essentially more so like; Hide and Clap
You can literally create your own hide and seek gamemode in freeroam and it would be better
i love the gamemode, i win both as hider and seeker all the time, people just suck at it because they don't read the instructions to know how to play. Most players don't even use the quick chat to co--operatively win the match as seekers.

Damn I was hoping this would be like those old Jack Ultra Gamer videos...
From my experience the Hider wins 9/10 times if they know how to traverse the map and use their chase breakers effectively. (so Aka, not playing hide and seek lmao); if they really want to evolve this mode they should remove/or rework the power up system so that the hider isn’t so advantageous from the get go. It’s way too easy to avoid the seekers because you can SEE THEM on your own map! They give the hider too much information to work with.

I played hide and seek as a kid, we would have the group hide, and the seeker counts to 30.. first person the seeker found had to race the seeker back to base. Loser of the race was the new seeker, everyone had to hide again..
Hide n Seek, more like. Seek and then it turns into tag.
This Hide and Seek is basically City Camouflage but you have to stay with him to stop him.
We play hide and seek like that in Turkey too hiders have to touch the base before seeker finds them and touches the base first to win but gamemode isn't really that either.
well it's better to have one game with cars u like, then buying 5 games with diffrent handling, sounds etc only to drive the cars you like

i like the idea, its in mexico so makes sense. best strat tho, when you're part of the seeker group, is that one or two stay behind a slight bit, that just three or 4 block the hider in, so that when the chasebreaker is activated, he doesn't get affected by it and there is always one chaser left to get in close and get that detection bar up. i hope it helps!
So basically the point of this gamemode is to act like an ai car and not get spotted by the seekers
i played 1 round out of curiosity and never acknowledged it's existence ever again, it sucks lol

IMO, it’s mislabeled as Hide and Seek. It’s more like cops and robbers (but one robber).
It’s actually really fun, I was apprehensive at first but I really like it now, once you know the tricks as a seeker you can win a fair amount of times!
Just happy they added a new game mode lol, hope it keeps coming

You should've tried the ultimate hider tactic. Which is the same tactic with playgorund games. Just go to the edges of the area and circle around it.

To be fair I honestly thought it was gonna be like American hide and seek not Mexican where if you get found you have to run to a safe area to not get caught. That’s like TAG and hide and seek mixed together. But they probably did that so there wouldn’t be 30 min games trying to find 1 person and also it would suck for the hider if they hid and got found instantly

It'd of been fun if they would of given us tag. All the people online playing would have to chase down the tag car and whoever hit them become the new tag target. that everyone has to chase now. But the car that stay tag for over 3 minutes without getting hit win high xp points and free wheel spin.

To be fair, it's more like hide n tag, I guess? It took a while to understand, but after you understand, it'd be so much more sense
True some change can be made, like maybe slightly better upgrade for hider (to the point it'd not change the car sound), or also a slight nerf to hider's power up. But overall, once you understand the basic, it's a fun gamemode, and kinda fun played together with groups
I honestly really enjoy this game mode.
