I have a mini maestra in dolce and I adore it. I have held off on the pebbled leather because I expect it to be a different experience. but if you want a luxurious leather I would definitely recommend the dolce. It feels and smells great.

What a great honest review. I think it was about two years ago when every UA-camr I was watching at the time was raving over these bags. I found it so hard to believe when they were owning LV, Chanel and Hermes bags. I don’t believe someone who has so many amazing bags is going to be ecstatic to wear a Sanreve bag. I never liked the look of them. They just looked boxy to me.😖

Senreve are excellent quality, they have excellent customer service and their chains are of the highest quality. Everybody has to start up somehow. If you had a faulty bag, which has happened to me with LV. Contact them and they will immediately exchange it. I have several of their bags for day and work use. I am not an influencer and I have never been gifted anything by them but I am glad I heard about them. Bags which withstand rain, snow, scratches. I love their quality.
This wasn't Harsh at All. It was the most honest review and experience I've seen. The company has alot of things to improve upon. Tfs💕💕💕

Thank you! Finally a realistic review! I find them to be unreasonably expensive for not having a name or history - it’s a joke! As you said for less then that price range I can buy coach which has heritage and a built up brand name. It is a little sickening how some people bs about it - I think we can all see, people are not stupid!

I'm glad someone is finally speaking the truth! I had the misfortune of being able to see and feel one recently... it's really obvious that they're using sub par leather and adding that texture to cover the flaws. And the pricing... the styling... it's all horrendous and doesn't make any sense. The clutch looked like leftover pieces of leather haphazardly sewn together. It's all awful. And I'll never be able to unsee the cartoon face on the front.

I was initially kind of turned off by the amount of influencers pushing the brand, especially the Maestra bag. But I was recently looking for bag chains for another bag I own and stumbled upon Senreve again. The chains didn't match my other bag that I initially wanted it for, so I decided to purchase one of their bags to make use out of the chain. While there were minor quality issues (such as glue residue), I like the minimalist look. I tend to carry smaller bags so it doesn't feel too heavy for me. I think it's a matter of taste. Customer service was attentive as well. They actually got back to me personally when I noticed an issue with a promo on their website. I think it's a brand worth taking a look at, especially if you want to get more into the "quiet and understated luxury" that is hot this year.

Late to the party, but I am writing this in all places that I can for awareness: I recently bought the Maestra from a reseller (new) and within 4 months of use in my work commute 3 days/week, the interior flap has begun to pill and the straps started to wear although I don't regularly transport my laptop or anything heavy for that matter. I carry a hardcover book, my house + car keys, wallet, phone, and small cosmetic bag. I am easy on bags and have a number of mid-tier and luxury bags for years without the level of wear and tear of this one. When I reached out to Senreve to request repair options they told me I was beyond the warranty period and there was nothing they could do, although it was a new bag. The fact that the company doesn't even stand behind their products is maddening.
I truly don't get the hype behind the brand and the quality certainly isn't worth the cost. Also, while it does have a nice design, the Maestra simply isn't a comfortable bag to wear.

I just got my mini maestra. It is very well made, very functional, great craftsmanship, low-key and I love it so much. More chic than Coach or Tory Burch. I collect luxury bags such as Chanel, Bvlgari, Céline, YSL. I will say it is fair to say Senreve's quality is pretty top-notch and made a great work bag (unfortunately better quality than Chanel nowadays). I can see why so many people and celebrities love Senreve ❤.

I agree, Senreve as a brand doesnt stand out and the price point was way off the charts. I think they were overpriced and went supper aggressive with their promotion to influences on their products. I bought my Senreve mini maestra when it came out because i love the versatility of it. I thought the leather was fantastic (maybe i scored a 10/10 quality) cause i dropped it twice on the road and it didnt have any scratches or dents. HOWEVER, after 1 year of usage the opening flap glazing started to wear off and APPARENTLY their warranty program is complete BS. You have to read their fine prints on their guarantee before purchasing because some parts are not covered. Im 💯 sure Senreve is not and would never be a Luxury Brand.

I completely agree with you on design of their bags. I was never attracted to Senreve bags and still scratching my head every time I see youtubers promoting their bags. Not really pretty and don't look functional at all. Thanks for the honest review!!

The largest size is pretty heavy empty at 3 lbs. It fits 13 inch laptop in padded compartment and 15 inch in main compartment. So if you plan using it for work it gets heavy quick. The straps are not padded nor comfortable for backpack style at that weight. Agree with reviewer about hurting back if not mindful.

Senreve is ridiculous on its pricing. They price their items similarly to companies like Mulberry that use better quality leathers and have more heritage. To me there are so many much better alternatives than Senreve. That have better price points and much better quality materials. Than you for leaving a truly honest review.

The Senreve bags are definitely over hyped. And not luxe. But I like the easy conversion from shoulder to backpack without having to unclip straps etc. so a good everyday “use and toss on the office floor” type bag…

Thanks for an honest review, It looked like it was made from a polyethylene to me, lol. It seem like Senreve is a UA-cam hype bag. I don't think they are cute at all.

I’ve had several Arias and various sized maestras. Sold all but one Aria and in the past four years, I’ve had to repair the “tongue” twice. The layers have a tendency to split apart. I use the bag very rarely, so I’m not a huge fan of the quality. The maestras are way too heavy for me, even the mini. The brand is meh to me. Senreve has ridden on the backs of influencers and now it’s hard to trust either.

Have you found another brand that’s a backpack style but good looking high quality laptop work bag? I am STILL looking and I have a ridiculous amount of bags on my channel but usually don’t spend this money on a bag and expect some excellent quality for my money.

Hello! Thanks for watching. I would recommend the Louis Vuitton Palm Spring mini. If your looking for a more affordable contemporary designer but great quality then I’d recommend the Polene numero uno backpack. Personally I prefer Polene. 💜

Lily Jade are amazing, their bags made from durable real leather and you can use it as a backpack/sling bag. i have a few of them since 2019 and they still look brand new until today
The value is only what someone is willing to pay… Fawn Design has some amazing hardware and a good chain for $20 🤔
Do you have any opinions on teddy blake bags?
Very interesting question. I’ve never owned a Teddy Blake bag. I know people that do and they praise the quality of the leather compared to the price point. I like that the bags come in array of different colors. I also have seen some of the bags in person and I think they have a good structure. My only issue with Teddy Blake is I think a lot of the bag designs are copycats. I would love to see an original design.
I think when they were brand new they had straight copies of the birkin and kelly but they no longer sell or promote those bags anymore. I bought their ava bag in croc embossed leather and i can say the quality of my bag is phenomenal, its alot like my ysl sunset in croc embossed leather. I believe i posted a review on mine a while back if your interested. What's surprising is the leather keeps it's smell, unlike my higher end brands that only smell new for a period of time.

Love the review! Unfortunately, I was one of those that got sucked in by the Senreve hype and purchased the mini maestra in cream. I bought it from a pop up store in Hong Kong and I loved my bag at first. I was careful using it but after only using it about 20 times, the grazing started to crack and peel. I could not believe it. Even Zara bags have better quality! I use bags that range from Chanel to Zara and I would say Senreve is very expensive for the lack of quality and lack of brand history.

This brands is a mess!
I don't disagree with what you personally experienced re: flaws, customer service, etc, but with regard to the feel of the leather - their "pebbled" leather is the kind of durable leather finish that's similar to something like Hermes Epsom leather (which is also quite rigid). They tend to be the most scratch resistant, and since Senreve started out as a practical luxury bag brand for working women, it made sense. It's also water resistant, which I appreciated in PNW. Coach or Tory Burch bags wouldn't have that (water resistance), nor the similar level of lining/interior finish. I agree they seem expensive, but all that costs money (if you want to look at what water resistant leather bags could cost in similar finish, you could look at bags from brands like Bonaventura). I have my Mini Maestra I got in 2019, and it still looks new. It's not the most user friendly design, but at least at that point in time quality was there, and I can't fault the leather. Since then they've come up with more types of leather (e.g. dolce), some of them softer, but I'd still pick the pebbled leather for durability, the same reason I'd pick Epsom if I were to buy an Hermes bag. I'm a klutz, so I tend to choose stuff like Epi leather (also hard) for LV as well. It all depends on what you want from a bag. I have multiple Aria bags, as well as their Coda and Cavalla bag, and I tend to reach for the pebbled Aria the most.
All I'm saying is, if you knock them for the texture of their leather, you'd be hurting your street cred as a bag person.

Hi, Devin. I work with leather so I can give you some insight. It is actually a cheap way to manufacture leather, that part you are correct. Saffiano leather was inspired by coated canvas: applying a pvc (plastic) finish on canvas to make more durable--saffiano, being leather with a pvc coating. The thing is, you can take any grade of leather, be it good or poor, and the results are the same saffiano. That is why PU saffiano leather is extremely common and often indistinguishable from actual saffiano leather. The benefits, however, is saffiano leather--like coated canvas--is extremely durable and can provide structure to bags. I wouldn't say it's a bad leather. It definitely has its uses. I think people forget there are different types of leathers for different intentions and usages. Like leather jackets are made from lamb skin, typically, because it's thin and movable, or nappa leather for car seats for the lambskin texture/butter-feel yet it isn't delicate as lambskin, or pebbled leather for unstructured bags that are designed to sag or slouch. Different types of leathers for different purposes.

@Devin Cristopher You're quite welcome 😁 I love epi leather. I own a small epi leather wallet, and it's quite durable; I wouldn't say it's as durable as saffiano, however. But something about epileather feels luxurious. I do agree with you on Prada's saffiano leather's texture. It's scratchy texture design is mostly for trademark (so you can distinguish it), but it feels plasticy... because it is plastic, so it definitely feels cheap tbh
I kind of like the silhouette and structure of the mini maestra, but the face of their bags is so ugly… The price is ugly too lol! 🤢 they are wild, idk what their thought process is. I suspect they have shill accounts commenting about how amazing they are on videos. Their marketing campaign goes hard lol!
