It's so nice to have an etiquette channel that feels welcoming, positive and constructive rather than petty, pretentious and snooty. I never feel like you're putting down one group of people to uplift your audience and I never get the sense that you are looking down your nose at anyone. It genuinely feels like you're a nice lady with a lot of knowledge that you're willing and happy to share with those who are open to listening and trying your tips. Thank you for that.
A mother of two kids??? Amazing calming voice, elegant energy and looking phenomenal? Im your new biggest fan. Thank you for bringing back etiquette videos into society, it seems these days that people have no idea how to act gracefully and to look put together not only with the clothes they wear but also with their manners. 👏😍😍😍💚
Étiquette is actually a really helpful way of life , it looks hard to get used it but it makes life easier, more organized and elegant ! Thank you for your vidéos , we actually left out many étiquettes that are positive , I'm trying to incorporate it into my daily life little by little :)
I am 18 years old and I absolutely love your videos, I want to become more elegant and learn more about etiquette. My grandma is very elegant and I am inspired to carry myself the way she does one day and your videos are of great help! Love, Felicia
Notes for myself: • Carry shoulder bag in hand if in crowded areas, if there's space then on shoulder. • Hold clutch in left hand: never under armpit. • Tall, slender figure, larger bulkier bags. • Ask for a hook/chair for formal dining places, otherwise place bag under chair [for casual dining places]. • Carry bag hook, try to match bag to hook if it appears cohesive. • Keep your bag clean. • Zip and keep bag closed unless you are using it. • Carry delicate bags in other bags when traveling. • Use ziplock/dust bags [dust for private items] to organize. • Stuff your bags when you're not using them. Bag essentials: Comb, face and eye wipes, hand cream, hair clip, hand sanitizer, chewing gum/mint/breathspray, essential oil for refreshment, mask, gloves, headphones, pen, charm, sunglasses, notebook, my book [novel/poetry or so, to provide as casual gift], eyedrops.
I love that she has bags I could never afford, but she still uses ziploc bags to organize the inside. Great tip! Going to use it on my mid-range designer bags. ❤️😍
This is actually true. I used to be a sloppy dresser and when I finally met a client who criticized the outfit and bag I wore, that's the time I changed my fashion style. Now, I consciously want to appear sophisticated when I have a client meeting, so as to give them the impression of my current standing as a business owner and at the same time, I noticed they take me more seriously.
I'm so proud of myself. I have the proper items in my purse. I wrote plastic baggies on the shopping list. I use makeup organizers. Thank you for the tips and ideas.
Such grace, such elegance! You my dear are what all women should aspire to be; calm, collected, classy and quietly spoken. Too many women have forgotten how to be ladies, adopting a tough aura of empowerment which is not at all alluring nor attractive. Looking forward to more enlightenment in the quest to be more elegant. Thank you!

I'm totally stunned at the Ziplocs though, especially inside of a luxury bag 😂. I even carry a snack in a pouch. To each his own though 😍...TFS beautiful!!💜...I learned something new today...😍
Miss Goins thank you for your comment 😊 I think it all about personal preferences. I by no means advocate for using only ziplocs. It my way of doing it and find it super practical.

An idea for certain types of restaurants might be to have chairs designed with an attached container, sized for a purse. Along one side of the chair at seat height or lower.
C. Great idea! With all the sanitary measures that the restaurants are taking on now with covid 19, I think it would be a good idea (instead of letting people place their bags on the floor 🥴).
For an option you can implement immediately, you can purchase a foldable handbag hook quite affordably and carry it in your handbag so you have it with you at all times.
I have been to restaurants that have a builtin hook on the table to hang a purse. Just have to keep your eyes peeled. Otherwise I hang on back of my chair.

Omg I thought I was the only neat freak using zip lock bags in my bags (for face masks, and other items). I always felt it was weird, but apparently it’s not! And it’s even considered fine by etiquette! ❤️
It’s good for practicality and cleanliness for sure. Just be aware that designers create cosmetic pouches (and the like) to go with the respective bag.

Your voice is so calming ❤️❤️
Thank you!
Since the first one I have watched one vlog, I have been watching more of her videos. Aside from the entertainment I get, I also learn. Thank you and you seem to be a nice lady.
thank you 🙏🏻
An idea for certain types of restaurants might be to have chairs designed with an attached container, sized for a purse. Along one side of the chair at seat height or lower.
C. Great idea! With all the sanitary measures that the restaurants are taking on now with covid 19, I think it would be a good idea (instead of letting people place their bags on the floor 🥴).
A hook on the back of the chair would be a great option for lightweight bags! 😊
You are so polished and elegant. I love your channel, Jamila.
Thank you so much for this video I have had so much problems trying to figure out how to pack my purses for travel without crushing them
Thanks!

Use a lot of ziplock bags to keep ur bag organised and clean.
Dust bags can be used to transfer items without showing to others.

Also, can put one bag inside another.

I watch your videos minutely and I try to implement them in my life. Thank you so much for making etiquette videos.
You're voice is very soothing to my ear!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
I love these videos. Thank you for your help. Etiquette to me helps me feel more grounded and more disciplined. It also helps me learn how to carry myself!
@@Rose-oo9gn absolutely, cosmetic pouches are ideal. I find ziplocks very tacky and uncivilized in handbags
I know this is an old video - However I just came across your Channel today. I just love how feminine, delicate and soft you are. Your voice is so smoothing and feminine I just love your aura
