I have to comment that I *loved* the throne of honor and blood. It was such an anticipated read for me, and to me, it didn't disappoint. In the first book, Rooke is strong - but it's a strength stemming from emotional detachment, that she only starts to claw out of towards the last third of the book. In the second book, she's emotionally in a different place. She doesn't automatically forgive Soren for everything he's said and done but she recognizes that a lot of his actions stem from ignorance and not of his own fault... I think their dynamic is very natural and their relationship really blossoms towards the middle-to the end of the book.... Maybe the hold up for a lot of people is they felt that Soren hadn't groveled enough, but he does recognize that he was wrong - he just doesn't over indulge in a melodramatic monologue about it. I think that it's also helpful to keep in mind that the reader themselves are ignorant of a lot of things... that come out towards the end... I can't wait till the next one!
Hey Tori here are all the books I've read for June and which one was my favorite 1. Finding your calling by Bishop TD Jakes 2. Savior it by Tara DeWitt 3. Wild love by Elise silver 4 not in Love by Allie Hazelwood 5. Curvy Girl Summer by Danielle Allen my favorite 😊
I was so disappointed by throne and honor of blood. I also gave it a (generous) 3*. It also had nothing to do with the release or the editing issues. It was the book itself that was disappointing. I was downright bored reading it.
I know what I'm picking up today at B&N 😉 Dishonestly Yours by Becca and Krista Ritchie came out! 😆 So excited!!!! I seriously want to read His Tesoro and When the Moon Hatched 🙊💞💗

“The plot was not plotting!” 😂 True, but To Ravish a Rogue is a fun read! 💗
I have EDS, so I actually paused the video to get His Tesoro from KU. Thank you for telling us what the disability is in the books you read! 💕💕
