I did the same thing. I loved the ZA series, but after book 6, i was trauma'd out. I have book 7. I read one chapter and haven't picked it back up.

After they added so many extra books to Zodiac Academy I don't see myself picking up another Carolyn Peck and Susan Valenti book any time soon. I don't mind a lengthy book or long series but I always hit a point with their writing where I feel like the series could be 3 books shorter at a minimum 😬
