- Welcome to another full flight video from last summer! Join me as I take you onboard Air Canada's Airbus A330-300 with the new cabin on a flight from Montreal to Vancouver!
This is my first time on Air Canada's A330 with the new cabin featuring new products in all classes. C-GKUH is one of eight A330 acquired second-hand from Singapore Airlines which was in the process of replacing its A330 with A350 aircraft. Although I've filmed a full Montreal to Vancouver flight before, this one features different scenery as the aircraft flew on a more northerly route compared to my A220 flight in March 2021, and also in a different season with different ground textures as a result.
This was a very special flight for me as I was in the process of moving permanently from Montreal to Vancouver, leaving behind the majority of my traumatic experiences I've had in the years that I was studying in Montreal. Furthermore, this flight was filmed just a few days after one of my worst mental health crisis I've experienced, and even though flying is very therapeutic for me, I had to take a lot of care and rest before this flight so I don't feel as worse off.
This was my fourth time on an A330 overall, and my first time on it in 12 years. Curiously, on all my previous A330 flights did they involve airlines that have already closed down or merged, which in this case were Cathay Dragon and Northwest Airlines. Key moments in the flight such as the new safety video and the inflight meal are featured, jump to those points using the timeline below.

A top class video, congratulations and thank you! I love how you show the entire experience, from boarding, pushback and the majestic taxi down 24L. Thumbs up!
Nice man.
I saw you in Juan Bendana's video comment section.
You took the same seat I'll be taking on my flight to Bogota this summer 🤯!! What a coincidence!
Awesome! Enjoy your trip!
@@naturallyherb Thanks! Continue with your amazing travel reports. Thoses really entrain my passion for aviation. Have a good summer ☀️!
I've never taken a plane in my life... But now I really want to get on a plane. Also go to Vancouver because it's a beautiful area and I have family there, so why not?
Bro, it's the best feeling ever! I've been on an airline many times and it's the best feeling ever, especially take off and landing
Very nice video =)
Thanks!

I like A330's I flew in one to Netherlands then Romania from the U.S. It seems like these days there are more and more of them being taken out of service though.
They're still very much widely in service, it's just that it's likely that you're seeing most of the older A330s being retired. It has had a very long production run, being produced since 1991, and so there has been a lot of improvements to it since then. Despite the 787 and A350 taking to the market, the A330 still flies really effectively and the A330neo is even more efficient.
@@naturallyherb thats true, maybe its the A330-200 and 300's at their end of life im noticing why it seems that way to me.
How were you able to take a photo and video at the same time? (Or did you mount a go pro on the window and used a separate camera?)
The GoPro is mounted with a suction cup to the window. I also have another camera.
@@naturallyherb Neat
@@jacobrubin8938 How do you prevent reflection from the window?
@@MRBeci1 The camera is mounted very close to the window. Also the cabin inside is darker than the outside, so it's virtually impossible to get distracting reflections.
Was this flight turbulent? Because you were flying over the Rockies. I’m doing this flight in 3 weeks
There was very little turbulence. We fly high enough from the mountains that this is usually not an issue.
Trent 700 best engine!
