      Yup, fine, V. warm day so had to work quickly & wet the pebbles beforehand.

    I'm a roughcaster, and this is not how to do it. Get someone in to do it properly.

      Scott Trimble It would be beneficial if u pointed out what was wrong instead of just leaving this obnoxious comment.
      and its not like he is switching the electricity or putting wood on concrete all that matters here is the esthetics, and sure this looks better than before,
      If u really are roughcaster which i doubt u are, u would have given advice instead of just trying to look cool.
      I am an amateur on this but i understand the concept, if if i did this, i would have taken off some of the old pebbles to make a decent scratch coat, that could withstand my second layer of mortar before applying the pebbles, but hey.
      Again this is not rocket science....
