If paint is stored correctly ie in a bottle , sealed similar to what is shown then it will last for quite a while , I have had paints in my studio Pre-mixed which I am still using 3 years later and they work fine . Make sure you always give your paint a really good shake before using it , these bottles have marbles in them to make that easier 👍🏻 hope that helps
Thank you for this! I have a good friend who started using an airbrush last year and wouldn't share how he got the flesh tone. Have you worked with watercolors? That's what I am starting with to get used to the feel and use of my airbrush
Hey, hey man you know what i tried it on clay and worked beautifully i used it on Van Akens clay, but I also need to test it on Jovi seeing they only make 15 colors, but its by far the best clay to use it don't smear the colors all on ur hands and it cleans up nicely ahh man hope it works. also worked on jovi ty
Is there a mixing chart one can use for mixing just using the primary colours for example three drops blue and 2 drops yellow gives you particular shade of green?
Cheers buddy look like something I can pinch to paint ze Germans with.... see how it compares to my favourite store bought model paint flesh.... obviously it will brush paint when not thinned so can try both. 👍🇬🇧
Thanks you for the video, this is great for white people paintings but what if I want to paint Jimi Hendrix, Obama or Rihanna, how do I tweak it to get the right tone?
More of this type please mixing colour gets me every time thank you for your great advice Stuart.
Thank you glad you found it helpful 👍🏻

Do you add the reducer to the whole bottle? If so how much reducer did you add? Thanks
Yes I want to know this too. If you make colours up, do you only add the reducer when you are about to use the paint?
He does them in a 1:1 ratio so seeing that he used 10ml of white and some drops of the others I’d say probably say 10-11ml of reducer.
Thanks for this. Always wondered how to get a skin tone. Not so easy to see on a computer screen, best if I give this a try a see for myself.
YES Awesome recipe
Excellent now I know what colors to use to make flesh tone thank you.
Thanks...hope more flesh tone for realistic portraits
Thanks for another great instructional video! How many drops would you estimate are in your 10 ml white paint bottle?
What would be the shelf life of this flesh tone I have a project or two needing this colour

Do you have a similar video for black skin tones?
Keep an eye out as I am just about to release a vid showing you how I mix my transparent blacks 👍🏻

Thank you. I have one silver grey blue colour I just can’t figure out. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to make it.
Awesome.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Have you tried using the Driscoll skin tones method?
Is this a transparent paint or opaque paint
This mix is opaque and trident colours are generally opaque but you can use transparent base to make them similar to transparent colours 👍🏻
So you get your bass tone where you want it and then keep adding white as you add the layers of highlight?
How much reducer did you add 😀
That tone is the basis for making the card

Great
I just followed your exact steps and I came up with a light green color? What did I do wrong
Bro, can this be added to alcohol and put into a marker?

I always get a peach color when I try to make a flesh tone
Bump!!!
How do you shift to a little more brown. I'm attempting to do Jimmi Hendrix. Thanks man. The Newbie!
I mix light brown and golden yellow in a separate bottle then add to that mixture
Good to know, trident do make some preminxed flesh tones for those that dont know
Don't waste ur paint this does not work all I got was a weird brown color and yes I followed these steps
