The "true" Saxifraga x urbium is a hybrid between Saxifraga umbrosa, native to the Spanish Pyrenees.
Location:
Saxifraga x urbium likes to be in the shadow or half shadow. Sunlight is bad for the leaves, so if sunlight is shining on the plant, make sure it’s filtered by bushes or trees.
Soil:
The soil may be humus, food rich and moist, but water permeable. Provide a cool bottom.
Height:
Saxifraga x urbium grows to a height of 15 - 30 cm (6 - 12 in) and provides rapid ground cover without being aggressively invasive.
Flowers:
Saxifraga x urbium produces in late spring a mass of small pink rosette flowers growing on 30 cm (12 in) long red-colored stems. It will grow well in neglected or unfavourable urban spaces where few other flowers flourish.

Leaves:
The leaves are thick and evergreen in the winter, and is oval in shape with cartels along the edge.
Care:
Cut off the flower stems after flowering.
War:
