Turning on the driving line assist helps too, you see the correct dry line the game creates

The demonstration ghost doesn’t even follow any of the lines and braking points 😭😭
Yes. Im fairly knew to gt7. But the line helped. Get the 1st corner and then the top of the hill quick helps alot with your time. You can put your foot down on most of the track. 2.15 is the best time so you can put ya foot down.
Oh this was super easy.... Only cost me 4hrs and some PTSD... 🤪🤪 Awesome guide brother! I follewed the demo ghost to slowly improve and like you the last sector I really pulled back. By far the hardest GT Lic test ever!
Managed to get 26.9 before watching this, didn't even get close to this time even with your guide man ... I'm devastated!

Countersteer assist is a bit too OP for this. Did a 2.24.8 first attempt then turned it on and immediately did a 2.21.6 lol
I still can’t finish a lap but turning this on keeps the ghost car in view after the first 3 turns so thank you.

This challenge was classic gran turismo, a real test of skill, I really enjoyed it, I actually only completed 2 laps but got a 2.20.7
Did you use counter steer assist by any chance or any other assist? As 2.20 is faster than the BRacer etc?

BTW about laptimes I don't believe everyone tried as hard as its only licences, 90% of people I know were happy with a gold and then didn't try again but I enjoyed the challenge and tried it for a while

I had a really hard time with the audi r8 evo, sector 2 ar I think itd deep forest. Found that keeping the throttle in it while braking really helped but Jesus that car is so sketchy.

Iff you rest your foot on the brake when you start up your wheel, it takes care of that 'always a little bit brake' problem.

Nice one Kie got the gold today after only being able to manage a bronze, watched this and within about 20 mins gradually chipped away the tenths using your tips. Popped the trophy and claimed my car's, really chuffed. Cheers dude
Cannot thank you enough for this video, I before I watched it I was getting consistent 2.27s, watched this 3 times, really noted down all the pointers, analysed your line, breaking points, breaking amount and acceleration points. First attempt after this I got 2.24.514, absolutely over the moon. Waiting for your next stream so I can thank you properly on chat.

ASM on and the Counter steering to strong
I drove over 300 km to get the gold, struggled for days, could not get better than 2:28. Then all the sudden I remembered for a previous game under similar conditions, where I set the assist settings to the max. So I set the assists settings on for ASM on and the Counter steering to strong. That reduced two seconds immediately for the next run, after a couple of tries I got it down to 2:25.8. Will try some more but have had it with this test for now. A bit of a cop out and not my proudest moment of receiving the gold, but the medal and gift are the same whatever assists you have active.
Can't wait to get to this. Probably starting on the A License tomorrow; started playing this game pretty late. I kinda wish I could have attempted it pre-1.13 though just to see what you guys had to go through XD
I’ve ran hundreds of miles on this challenge, mostly on the first corner. My best time is 2:33.9 because I’ve only ever completed this lap twice. 🤦🏻♂️
Today I got gold on S9, ready to face the final test! All these guides have helped a lot. It took a solid month of grinding to get golds on all the other tests. Hopefully this one takes less than a month. Thanks for these Kie, much appreciated.

I drove very wide in the very last corner in to the puddle and lost TONS of time on my 3rd full lap, yet I somehow managed to get a 1:25,9. I was extremely reliefed since I had bottled probably almost ten laps on the high speed section before the last chicane/hairpin thing.
Nice guide though! I might go and improve my time tomorrow utilizing some of your tips!
Update: I finally went and tried again, got well into 23s!
Was able to manage a 2:23:991 yesterday on the controller with no aids (apart from ABS on "weak"). Super happy with that!
Was buzzing when I finally got the gold medal. Was then a little disheartened when the trophy didn't pop for gold on all licenses. Still hasn't popped after re doing all tests with a gold medal.

This was brutal, took me a solid 9hrs to pass, 9hrs this works out to around 222 laps but it was way more. So many times I literally binned it on the first corner. The last section was the worst
🤗 Finally, completed it in 2 minutes 34 seconds dead. Not the best time but rewarding considering the difficulty.

Agree that last section is the hardest, bottled no end of good laps there, took me a hour to do this and I only completed 2 laps lol, the last of which getting gold

Changing the brightness settings a bit can really highlight the wet track, it won’t make the car faster but does show where not to drive

haven't try this one yet still have 7 Super license to clear, take it slowly while i tried to practice on Gr.3 car.
but i always drive in Cockpit view, may prove difficult to see the wet spot.
man i find the new R8 LMS Evo is undriveable in real race with tire wear. input steering in a tiny bit and it rear just sliding.

i was in the top 1% to get all the trophy’s on this game ,sony emails you how many people have all the trophys ,im on ps5 ,it said 12% of people have all the trophys and i did it faster than 11% .my gold is on my channel for this ,but it wasnt my fastest .great guide

I respect drifting and people who can drift but I wish they didn't add drifting to the missions.
This game teaches you who to drive correctly but drifting teaches the opposite of the perfect driving line. And I get it, it's a part of driving but man is it frustrating I can't drift worth a darn. Hahaha

This was a really impressive tutorial - I hated this track but your explanation really does show how well GT7 physics are built.
I'm curious though, I struggle with manual gears on racing games (I use a controller) - what is the best time you can get using automatic on this track?
Automatic in general is 200-500th slower, so I can probably get 2.19 now on this test so maybe 2.20 flat with Auto gears if I tried to push it, I had few more goes awhile back abs got 2.21.0 fairly comfortably so I’d guess 2.20ish with Auto if I really pushed it 👍

I will try your tips today thank you. I'm using a controller 🤞 I can actually get to the end of the track and at the same time hopefully earn a bronze. Started this test yesterday, it's very difficult and frustrating.
Use the racing line on if struggling as that keeps you in the dry line 👍

Went from 2.28.5 to a 2.22.976 in an hour or so using this! Great guide! Was about to lose the plot with spinning out so many decent laps at blanchimont. Then I rewatched your line through there, nailed the gold lap at next attempt 👌🏻

Yeah, this shit was not easy, but wait for Nordschleife circuit experience :D Yesterday I made it with time 6:36.700. It took me almost 2 days. This S-10 license test took me about few hours on gold
Nords was actually not bad for me think I got 6.34 on 3rd lap but I now know that track fully plus dry hurst took couple laps to get the hang the car really 👊

nice mate
just turn on all assists and learn the braking points on the demo, then you have gold. you can also turn on your ghost and the demo ghost to push yourself and see where you are losing time. this one is honestly easier than the F1 and the Tokyo Expressway gold times. There's a lot of built in handicap with the time because of the rain.
I've just given up on this lol. I can't even complete one lap, I thought I was average at this game, I have played since GT1 and always got all gold license, but I guess I suck because I can't do it. I threw in the towel months ago and still have not completed the S license test lol.
Some help if struggling put the racing line on As that will show you the dry line 👍

This license test is impossible to get gold on with a DualShock controller.
I have a solid silver, but since PD decided to make an already difficult gold impossible by dropping gold to 2:25.00, my 2:28.200 might as well be 10 years…
It’s far from impossible mate, some the top times are done on the controller, it’s actually easier now than it was at release to be fair, try putting racing line on to make it show you the dry line may help 👍

This S-10 license made me quit the game many months ago. Started playing again and it's so frustrating. Going to have to dump this game again. I tried so often.
I only completed the lap twice. My first time I got 2:32. 2nd time I completed it I got 2:24. Hundreds of failed attempts between the two
1st time actually got around the track 2:32:456 ....now 2:28 dead still need to lose 2secs but at least got silver and happy with that
I only finished this trial twice. The first time i finished with a 2:32. The second time was a 2:25. Honestly id just watch guides and take each turn slowly and eventually you’ll get it

This guide was done when it was harder to complete its now much easier think I can go 3-4 seconds faster now 👍

Why not use the sticks to steer? Lot fats drivers on GT are on controller 👍

I've beaten it with a controller. Not as fast as you are, it was pretty close to silver actually. Can't remember of the top of my head but somewhere around 2.24.500+ so literally half a second (+/-) away from silver. And you know what? It was good enough for me. F this car and this challenge! If I had a wheel and a chair maybe I would've tried for a better time, until then, this thing can suck it!
