Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! There is a war going on here on UA-cam between preachers about calling and asking and how maybe praying for salvation is considered a "work".. It's a horrible and ugly war that shouldn't even be happening. I had a long conversation with another preacher last night about this and he said he laid on his bed and called out to the Lord in tears to save him. He said that the preacher who said it is a "work" is saying he isn't saved. That's not the case I told him. Then he asked if sodomites are saved because they believe in the gospel. I reminded him it also says in 1Cor 15:4 that it is "according to the scriptures" and sodomites disregard the scriptures and continue in their sin. I may have lost a friend by telling him it's trust in the blood atonement and the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross that saved him. Not his cry! It was his belief in the gospel as stated in 1Cor 15:1-4 that saved him and nothing he said or did saved him. Repentance does not save you either. He's very angry with me and thinks I'm lost and I'm buying into a "false gospel" by a "false teacher". I have seen your videos before and really enjoy your teachings. I have subscribed to your channel and unsubscribed to the man who attacked the other preacher on UA-cam. Thank you for this lesson! If you find fault in my words, please let me know. God bless brother. Paul
But what he is talking about is that if you start in Romans 9 and read through Romans 11 the subject Paul is talking about is all about Israel. Pastors and Evangelist jump in the middle and pull Romans 10:9-13 out of context as it is speaking all about Israel and not to Gentiles. Then when they get to Romans 10:9-13 and all of a sudden they think it’s talking to them. Israel was the one that was supposed to confess the Lord before the Gentiles but instead was blasphemy his name. For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. Romans 2:24 - AKJV They (Israel) need to believe on Jesus. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; as it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 9:32-33 - AKJV Is the same thing in Romans 10:11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:11 - AKJV Nothing has change in who Paul was speaking about by time you get to Romans 10 it’s still about Israel in this chapter also.
@@shannonhamby9720 Guess what Jews are not Saved differently than Gentiles or anyone else. So the point being made that this passage is to Jews is ignorant. The Bible has only one plan of Salvation and it is clearly explained in Romans 10:9-13 Romans 10:9,10 is not works. Some Cult Churches may claim it you do not Confess Jesus to the Church as a part of Salvation than you are not saved. Romans 10:8-13 is clearly a Salvation passage. The entire context is Salvation from Hell. It is belief in the Gospel. It does not say a person needs to confess with their mouth to a person, to other people, in front of a congregation. The Confession is to Jesus not to man. Calling this works Salvation is saying the thief on the cross was Saved by works when he asked Jesus to Save him. Also it does not say you have to confess with your mouth to be Saved. It just says if you do you will be Saved. Verse 11 says: "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." The Bible is clear, this entire passage is clear that a person is Saved as soon as they believe the Gospel. I believe when some is Saved when they have believed the Gospel they are having a conversation with Jesus. A conversation: "Jesus I know that I am a sinner. I deserve to go to Hell for my sins. I am asking you right now Jesus to Save me from Hell. I believe the Gospel that you died were buried, and you rose on the third day to pay the penalty for all of my sins. Jesus I am trusting in you alone to Save me." Saying a prayer is not works it is exactly what the thief on the cross did. Romans 10:13 "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be Saved." The only way today to call upon the name of the Lord is through prayer. Again the passage is not saying to Confess to anyone but Jesus. Again verse 11 makes it clear just belief in Jesus is required for Salvation. It does say you will be Saved if you Confess Jesus and Believe the Gospel. Both are true. You are Saved by belief in Jesus. You are also Saved if you Confess to Jesus with your mouth that you believe on him. The Jews were never required works as well as faith to be saved.. And all the examples of salvation show a verbal confession of faith that one is a sinner and that Jesus is the sinless Savior. Look at the thief on the cross as he verbally confessed with his mouth that he was a sinner and that Jesus was just being without sin. He vocally placed his faith in Christ asking him to take him to paradise after death.. This shows us that he verbally confessed his faith in the gospel believing that Jesus would live after death. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh We shall be judged by our words which is what we said when confronted with the gospel.. remember verbally rejecting Christ quite a good few times before I got saved. These Christians wanted me to get saved, they gave me the gospel and I verbally rejected Christ just like King Agrippa did when Paul preached the gospel to him. Look at the eunuch when Philip preach the gospel from the old testament to him. The eunuch verbally asked what doth hindered me from receiving water baptism. He was told he had to believe on Christ firs and he verbally confessed his faith in Christ because it's faith in Christ is what saves us not water baptism.. But the point is that he confessed his faith in Christ as the Son of God the messiah which means Saviour. The examples of how a person got saved are given in the bible. The gospel was preached to the lost and it went into all the world. The lost either responded in faith to believe or they rejected. We see King Agrippa had the gospel preached to him but he verbally told Paul that he almost believed. Sadly we it look like he rejected the gospel. Then we have the positives where people were preached to with the gospel and they responded in faith to receive salvation.
After ye heard the word of truth the gospel of salvation, after ye believed. Couldn't be any simpler. Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory Peter also denied Christ out of fear.. Those in John 12:42 were afraid of being kicked out of the synagogue by the pharisees.. This is not speaking about salvation as it's merely speaking about immature Christians who are ashamed of the gospel for various different reasons. The bible also assures us that those who confess Christ have the Spirit of God in them being born again. 1 John 5:1, 1 John 5:10-13, 1 John 4:2-3-15 KJV All the examples of salvation show the person verbally coming into agreement with the scriptures. The Jailer knew he was a sinner in need of salvation which is why he verbally confessed he needed salvation by asking how to get saved. He was told to believe and he would have verbally confessed that he did believe for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.. The thief on the cross was left as a perfect example of simple salvation. He confessed that he was a sinner and he asked Christ with the words of his mouth to take him to paradise after death. He also confessed that Jesus was just with his mouth.. This shows us that he confessed his sinful state to Jesus who cleansed him from all unrighteousness giving him his imputed righteousness. Those who SAY they have no sin deceive themselves having the truth not in them making God a liar. If one says we don't have to confess or admit that we are sinners then that's foolish pride and not scriptural. The word of faith is in our mouths and it's not to be shut up. There is nothing wrong with confessing faith in Christ for salvation from sins and this salvation is salvation from the lake of fire. To say it's salvation from just physical death is just not scriptural. It's more like the twisting of scripture. You can only call Jesus Lord by the holy spirit. :) 1 Corinthians 12:3
@@JesusSavesSinners I didn’t read all you wrote because I can stop you before your ignorance shows on what you don’t know or didn’t pay attention to. Your ignorant of the context and subject of Romans chapter 9-11 please look at subject and context of Romans 10 from verse 1 through verse 21 it is all about ISRAEL not you and not Jews or Gentiles. It is about the nation of ISRAEL Subject is Israel and context of chapter 10 is their salvation for them and the lack of understanding and hearing of their message. Which is how the chapter ends by the way. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God 👉for Israel is👈, that 👉they might be saved.👈 Romans 10:1 - AKJV What no Jew or Gentile in this chapter. That’s correct. Only Israel. But tradition teaches that verse 9-114 is about us. Put context and subject over tradition. The word THEY, THEM and THEIR is use throughout this chapter and not we or us. You all of a sudden throw yourself into the mix in verse 9-13 avoiding context and subject. WOW. That’s why Paul goes into the next chapter in 11 to tell you about Israel’s fall and diminishing. These three of chapters 9-11 is about ISRAEL past, present at the time Paul is writing this and their future when Christ will return to take away their sins. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God 👉for Israel 👈is, that 👉they (ISRAEL) might be saved.👈 For I bear them (ISRAEL) record that they (ISRAEL) have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they (ISRAEL) being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their (ISRAEL) own righteousness, have not submitted themselves (ISRAEL) unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (That includes Jews because Gentile were never under the law) For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. Romans 10:1-5 AKJV Verse 6-8 is OT quotes from the book of Deuteronomy which the body of Christ was not in and was not being spoken to or about in that book. So we have verse one through 1-8 speaking to and about Israel and you add yourself in verses 9-13 amazing. Your not in those verses no matter how much you want to be. Now in context and subject jump to verse 14 and the same they and them is the same words being spoke to and about verse 9-13 which is ISRAEL not you or anyone today. Your salvation message is in chapters 3:21-5 which apparently your ignorance of. How then shall they (Israel) call on him in whom they (Israel) have not believed? and how shall they (Israel) believe in him of whom they (Israel) have not heard? and how shall they(Israel) hear without a preacher? and how shall they (Israel) preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they (Israel) have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, (Esaias did not have your gospel nor was he speaking to you) Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they (Israel) not heard? Yes verily, their (Israel) sound went into all the earth, and their (Israel)words unto the ends of the world. But I say, 👉Did not Israel know?👈 First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them (Israel) that are no people, and by a foolish nation (Israel) I will anger you. But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them (Israel) that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them (Israel) that asked not after me. 👉But to Israel👈 he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.(Israel) Romans 10:14-21 - AKJV So if ISRAEl is the subject in the context of this whole chapter where do you get off adding yourself into the message for Israel? Israel had to confess Jesus as Lord Acts 2:36, Israel had to believe he was raised from the dead why to sit on David’s throne Acts 2:34, Israel message was to call on the name of the Lord to be saved Acts 2:21 in the last days which is the seven years of tribulations. That’s not Paul’s message. Paul had the gospel of the grace of God hidden since before the word began Romans 16:25 with the ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:19-21.
@@JesusSavesSinners You have so many errors in what your comment says I don’t even know where to start. You falsely assume there is only one gospel in the Bible. That’s a man made tradition. Number one you have not learned to rightly divide time period and especially between what was said and for the circumcision to become apart of Israel in time past when salvation was John 4:22 of the Jews and when Jesus own word said he came only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 10:5-6, Matthew 15:24) a house you were not in and still are not in and what is to and for those today to become apart of the body of Christ during the message of the reconciliation of the world committed to and through the Apostle Paul. Wherefore remember, that ye being in 👉time past👈 Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at 👉that time ye were without Christ👈, (in time past under the covenant of circumcision which is Matthew they John and early Acts) being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 👉but now👈 in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:11-13 - AKJV Paul said but now meaning today this would be during the DUE TIME MESSAGE GIVEN TO AND THOUGN HIM we have been brought near to God through the blood of Jesus Christ which would include the preach of the cross that was not being preached in Matthew they John and the early Acts period. Israel was to believe on Christ name, be water baptized, endure unto the end of the tribulation, sell all their possession, keep the commandments. Not so for today. If Paul said that salvation today is no more of works Romans 11:6 speaking to and about Israel. The that words no more means at one time it was faith plus works. The no more of works indicated that at one time it would have been faith plus works to be apart of Israel. The but now time period which we live in today says no more of work but by grace alone. It hasn’t always been that way. That why it’s called the Ephesians 3:2 dispensation of the grace of God and Paul received what he call Acts 20:24 the gospel of the grace of God which was not preached before it was revealed to the Apostle Paul and started in Acts 13:38-39. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6 - AKJV There was work of the flesh that Israel had to do to accompany their faith. Apparently you never notice the word do throughout the Old Testament scriptures. Keeping the commandments to receive eternal live is doing and that what Jesus command those under the convent of circumcision to do. That’s why James chapter 2 is all about while he is writing to the scattered 12 tribes of Israel also under the covenant of circumcision in James 1:1. Which any honest person who can read in James chapter 2 is not the same thing being said in Romans chapter 4 where it is faith alone. The thief on the cross knew nothing about Christ going to be raised from the dead even the 12 disciples didn’t believe that until Jesus Christ revealed himself to them Luke 24:36-46. So that’s a straw man argument. Our salvation message for today didn’t come until after the fall of Israel and Israel started to diminish. Which happened in Acts Chapter 7. Which is why in the book of Acts you see the transitional period from Petter and the twelve gospels to Paul and what he calls my gospel Romans 16:25 the preach of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. This message was hidden from Peter and the twelve. John the Baptist didn’t preach and Jesus on earth didn’t preach it so stop trying to add it back into where it was not revealed as if it had always been there. Paul preach the ministry of reconciliation through Israel’s fall and diminishing. Matthew through John and early Acts Israel had not fallen or diminished yet. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? if by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Romans 11:11-12,14,30-32 - AKJV That’s the message of grace and reconciliation that apparently your ignorant of. That god now at this present time can now have mercy spin all BECAUSE OF ISRAEL’s fall and unbelief. It did not happen before this time period. When did this start? When Jesus Christ appeared to Saul/Paul on the road to Damascus. Now don’t miss in the verse below that the glorious gospel was committed to Paul’s trust (not the twelve as you wrongly assume) and don’t miss that it says in Paul first and don’t miss that it say he obtained mercy first, don’t miss that it says he is a pattern for them that should here after believe. The thief on the cross nor the twelve or anything said during Matthew thru early Acts is not your information and is not your pattern for today. according to 👉the glorious gospel👈 (that’s the gospel of the grace of God) of the blessed God, 👉which was committed to my trust.👈 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but👉 I obtained mercy,👈 because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And 👉the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant👈 with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause 👉I obtained mercy👈, 👉that in me first 👈Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, 👉for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.👈 1 Timothy 1:11-16 - AKJV
Wow glory haleluya I was partly blinded on this issue I knew its for Israelis and its not 1cor15 : 1-4 but was asking the holy spirit to explain to me so I may educate and share or teach gentiles to preach Romans 10:9 to Jews for to be saved from their unbelief apostacy and admit and have them believe 1cor15:1-4 for their salvation
What are you meaning by Lord? Because there is not one scripture that says accept him as Lord or make him Lord in scripture. Do you understand the difference between Jesus Christ being preached according to prophecy Acts 3:21 and Jesus being preached according to the revelation of the mystery Romans 16:25?
@@shannonhamby9720 Firstly, you can't make Him 'Lord'. Because Jesus is already Lord. (Mathew 28:18). He is Jehovah. All you can do is accept/acknowledge that He is Lord. And from the moment you acknowledge Him as Lord (Master), you start justifying your acceptance through your obedience to His commandments in NT. Salvation of your Spirit has been and always will be through believing in Jehovah. Abraham believed in this Jehovah and it was credited to him for righteousness. Hebrews 11 is the best example which shows that Faith in Jehovah is what saved all the OT characters. Paul has in said many times about accepting Jesus as Lord. Look at Romans 10:9. Now you'll say that it is for Jews. I want you to continue reading till verse 12. Paul himself confirms there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. Acts 11:17, 16:37, 20:21 these are few verses which says you have to believe Jesus as 'Lord' and 'Christ'. Paul acknowledges Jesus as Lord and Christ throughout his epistles. Romans 1:3, 1:7, 5:1, 5:11, 5:21, 6:11, 6:23, 7:25, 8:39, 13:14, 15:6, 15:30, 16:18, 16:20, 16:24 These are just the references in Romans. All other epistles are filled with 'Lord Jesus Christ'. You are welcome to verify. Paul accepted Jesus as His Lord and Christ.
@@shannonhamby9720 what was the prophecy in OT? Starting from Gen 3, a Saviour is awaited. Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53 gives a better detail of it. There are plenty of references in OT about the Messiah. But nobody understood the picture properly. There were references that said the Messiah will be a King, a prophet and a priest. They waited for the King foremost. Including the disciples. Even after Jesus' ressurection they didn't understand the mystery in the prophecies in OT. Actually, this mystery was explained by Jesus himself to the disciples. Refer Luke 24:13-27. Paul is speaking about the revelation of the mysteries in OT. And he is not claiming that it was revealed just to him. Read Ephesians 3: 1-7. Vs 5 especially. Revealed to Holy apostles also. I don't see a difference in the gospel preached by Paul and remaining apostles. The message was the same. Jesus is Lord and Christ. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.
Rosa Li Your statement is you acknowledge Him as Lord, you start justifying your acceptance through obedience to His commandments. Please show me a verse that shows acknowledged Him as Lord? For 👉by grace are ye saved through faith👈; and that 👉not of yourselves: 👈it is the 👉gift of God👈: not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 - AKJV So you are saying it is of yourself and you have to acknowledge Him as Lord. Which is not in the scriptures. being 👉justified freely by his grace 👈through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:24 - AKJV So is it justified freely or your acknowledgement that justified you which would be you justifying yourself. See in the Ephesian 3:2 dispensation of the grace of God he is justifying you through his blood and he is bring you near to him and has made us accepted in Him. but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off 👉are made nigh by the blood of Christ👈. Ephesians 2:13 - AKJV to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he 👉hath made us accepted in the beloved👈. Ephesians 1:6 - AKJV I did not say that Paul did not call him Lord. You are right we should call him as He deserves to be called by the Lord Jesus Christ; but that is not what saves anyone.
Rosa Li RIGHTEOUS JUDGE Lord Greek - kyrios The word is used in the New Testament in Matthew thru Revelation 748 time. Most define the word to mean master, boss, owner, and ruler. This is an attempt to try to gain control over your life through manipulating you with the word of God. Because of Lordship Salvationist the word has been miss used. A common verse they use is Matthew 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father (John 6:39) which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 - AKJV 1 When used in context with verse 15 verses 21-23 are talking about false prophets. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15 - AKJV 2 These people did confess Jesus as Lord therefor it can’t be by confessing Jesus as Lord. 3 John 6:39 tells us what the father’s will is. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6:39 - AKJV 4 The body of Christ will not enter into the kingdom they will be translated into the kingdom of his dear son. Translated taken from one and placed in another. who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13 - AKJV Then Lordship Salvationist use the fraise “If he is not Lord of all is he Lord at all”. The only time the fraise is used in the New Testament is in Acts 10:36. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Acts 10:36 - AKJV If Jesus preached peace how can it be commanded to make him Lord over everything in your life. (Deuteronomy 10:14; Acts 17:24-26) Bible’s definition - Lord However the Bible give us the definition of how the word Lord is used. Lord means - the righteous judge. henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: (the judgment seat of Christ) and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (The rapture) 2 Timothy 4:8 - AKJV Paul just gave us a definition for the Lord - the righteous judge. Now let’s see if this hold true throughout scripture. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. John 5:30 - AKJV Peter tell the nation of Israel at Pentecost that Jesus whom you crucified is made both Lord and Christ. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36 - AKJV The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Psalm 7:8 - AKJV God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 7:11 - AKJV And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. Psalm 9:8 - AKJV Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Psalm 35:24 - AKJV And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. Psalm 50:6 - AKJV O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Psalm 67:4 - AKJV Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Psalm 96:10 - AKJV before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity. Psalm 98:9 - AKJV But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. Jeremiah 11:20 - AKJV Paul tells us that Jesus will judge the world in righteousness. because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:31 - AKJV Paul tells that God’s wrath will be revealed on the unrighteous. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:18 - AKJV This is why Paul tells us that Jesus at this time in the dispensation of the grace of God Jesus is declaring his own righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth. If Jesus is judging today by be righteous or unrighteous this would help us to understand why we have to receive imputed righteousness. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:3 - AKJV How was it count to him by believing God. Sounds simple. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Romans 4:6 - AKJV Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: Romans 4:9-11 - AKJV Jesus is justifying mankind by his own imputed righteousness by faith in him. We also today receive the circumcision of Christ as a seal; but one made without hands by the spiritual baptism into Christ death, burial, and resurrection. in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Colossians 2:11-13 - AKJV

Your half right. That was the gospel preach by Jesus Christ and his apostles until the fall of IsraelRomans 11:11-12,15 in Acts chapter 7 with the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost and then the start of the Holy Ghost separating Paul for the work of the ministry where he was called later for the grace of God to us Gentiles. Something change during the thirty year period of the book of Acts. We went from Peter and the twelve with the gospel of the kingdom for those of the circumcision to the gospel of Christ and the gospel of the grace of God for all nations. Acts is a transitional book to take you from one ministry and one Gospel to the one later reveal to Paul as he got vision and revelation from the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:4,6-12 - AKJV You contradict yourself. Is it Peter teaching there is none other name where by we must be saved in which at that time that was still the message for the believing remnant of Israel under the covenant of circumcision or is it believe in the death burial and resurrection and that Jesus died for all our sins which is from Paul the Apostle to all nations. Please show me where the twelve preached the death burial and resurrection for salvation? Can’t be both that’s two different messages. Peter preached remission of sins through water baptism; Paul preached the forgiveness of sins through the redemption that is in Christ blood and through the man Jesus Christ as our mediator Ephesians 1:7 Acts 13:38-39 1 Timothy 2:5-6 who gave himself a ransom for ALL TO BE TESTIFIED IN DUE TIME not testified through all of scripture. Paul was the due time Apostle not the twelve they were promised to sit on twelve throne judging the twelve tribes of Israel Matthew 19:28, Luke 22:30. And in Acts 10:35 Peter said people are saved by fear of God and by works of Righteousness that they do which is the total opposite of Titus 3:5 that say not by work of Righteousness but by his mercy which is the opposite of fearing God and it is now Jesus Christ that make us accepted Ephesians 1:6 not water not repentance not confessing your sins. If Jesus sent the twelve out In Matthew 28:19 to baptize why does Paul say his commission of the gospel given to him the one he calls my gospel Romans 16:25 the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery does not include water baptism anymore? Paul preached the power of the cross and Jesus Christ and him crucified for the forgiveness of sins not repent and be water baptism for the remission of sins like Peter and the twelve did. Paul preach that we are currently justified by faith and have a present possession of the forgiveness of sins where as Peter preached to Israel that they would receive their sins being blotted out when the Lord returned in Acts 3:19-21. That’s not the same message. I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:14,17-18 - AKJV The twelve could not say any of this. You should note that something has changed from Matthew 28 to 1 Corinthians twenty five years later after Romans 11-12,15 fall and diminishing of Israel which is who the Matthew 28 commission was for. Why does no one today have all the sign that follow that Matthew 28 water baptism? And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15-18 - AKJV Now the verse does not say to pick which sign you want to believe it says the signs shall follows them plural meaning all of them will that believe. And yet you don’t have any of them. These verses below no matter how you try to twist them do not say the same thing. Prophecy spoken since the world began to and for the single nation of Israel is not the same a mystery kept secret since before the world began that is for all nations. as he 👉spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:👈 Luke 1:70 - AKJV But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath 👉spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.👈 Acts 3:18,21 - AKJV Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to 👉the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,👈 Romans 16:25 - AKJV whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; even 👉the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest👈 to his saints: Colossians 1:25-26 - AKJV Something that is kept secret and is now made known is different from something that has been spoken and has been made known by all the prophets. These mystery were not given to the twelve nor anyone before Paul got them first.
Christ is the end of the law for the Jews AT THAT TIME AND STILL TODAY. But it is not the end of the law. Matt.5 [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Isa.66 [22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Malachi 4 and the end of Zech 14 speaks of the feast of tabernacles. Not sure when the new heaven and earth happen in this but is close at hand.

Jesus Christ had to force Peter to go to Cornelius to show him something was about to change with the starting of Paul’s ministry with the gospel of the grace of God. None of what Peter said is for your salvation either in Acts chapter 2 or in Acts chapter 10. @@markgenn8967 the Catholic Church is not our authority. No one gave any Pope the authority to change God’s everlasting words. The Lord Jesus Christ is our authority and the Bible is our authority. Paul gave us the gentile for today in the body of Christ the message, instructions and how we are to walk and this came from the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ around 10 years after Peter and the Roman’s 11;11-13 fall and diminishing of Israel until God will deal with Israel again during the tribulation after the body of Christ is raptured out. Paul says over 20 time in his writing in some shape of from that he is our Apostle not Peter who was promised to sit on one of the twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes Israel Matthew 19:28 (which tribe are you in) not judging the body of Christ which is going to be done by Paul’s my gospel Romans 2:16. Peter is not the head of the body of Christ. Jesus Christ himself is our head Ephesian 1:22, 5:23, Colossians 1:18, 2:19. Peter had no clue what the mystery body of Christ was until Paul revealed it to them in Acts chapter 15 and in Galatians chapter 2. We are not Israel stop trying to steal their covenant and promises. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:14-18 - AKJV After Israel’s fall in Acts chapter seven the whole world is now considered Gentile and heathens in the sight of God. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Acts 13:2 - AKJV Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, Acts 13:9 - AKJV The Holy Ghost separated Saul/Paul for the purpose and will in which Jesus had called him and chose him for. * He would go to the Gentile, kings, and children of Israel to bear Jesus name among them. * For him to be a minister of the thing he had seen and of the thing in which Jesus would appear unto him. * To open the Gentiles eyes. * To turn the Gentiles from darkness to light. * To deliver them from the power of Satan and to the power of God. * So that Gentile can receive forgiveness of sins. * So Gentile could receive and inheritance. * So the Gentiles could be sanctified by faith in Jesus. If this was Paul’s purpose then why did God not just use the twelve Apostles that Jesus already chose to do this will? Does that mean that the twelve were not already doing those things since the Holy Ghost is the one that separated Paul to do them in Acts chalet 13 about 11 years after the cross? Why would we need Paul if the twelve were already doing those things? Paul the Apostleship confirmed to the Gentiles. Paul was not an Apostle to the remnant little flock believing Jews only as the twelve were; but he was the Apostle to the Gentiles and any one who was not a believer under the covenant of circumcision. Thank you! Paul
Amen!... Be blessed!...📖
Now there is no difference whether Jew or Gentile. The words Paul spoke are applicable to any unbeliever
Romans 2:24 - AKJV
They (Israel) need to believe on Jesus.
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; as it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 9:32-33 - AKJV
Is the same thing in Romans 10:11.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:11 - AKJV
Nothing has change in who Paul was speaking about by time you get to Romans 10 it’s still about Israel in this chapter also.
Amen!!! True!!!
@@shannonhamby9720 Guess what Jews are not Saved differently than Gentiles or anyone else. So the point being made that this passage is to Jews is ignorant.
The Bible has only one plan of Salvation and it is clearly explained in Romans 10:9-13
Romans 10:9,10 is not works.
Verse 11 says: "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
The Bible is clear, this entire passage is clear that a person is Saved as soon as they believe the Gospel.
Jesus I am trusting in you alone to Save me."
Saying a prayer is not works it is exactly what the thief on the cross did.
Romans 10:13 "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be Saved."
The only way today to call upon the name of the Lord is through prayer.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory
Peter also denied Christ out of fear..

Subject is Israel and context of chapter 10 is their salvation for them and the lack of understanding and hearing of their message. Which is how the chapter ends by the way.
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God 👉for Israel is👈, that 👉they might be saved.👈
Romans 10:1 - AKJV
What no Jew or Gentile in this chapter.
Romans 10:1-5 AKJV
Verse 6-8 is OT quotes from the book of Deuteronomy which the body of Christ was not in and was not being spoken to or about in that book.
👉But to Israel👈 he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.(Israel) Romans 10:14-21 - AKJV
So if ISRAEl is the subject in the context of this whole chapter where do you get off adding yourself into the message for Israel?
Israel had to confess Jesus as Lord Acts 2:36, Israel had to believe he was raised from the dead why to sit on David’s throne Acts 2:34, Israel message was to call on the name of the Lord to be saved Acts 2:21 in the last days which is the seven years of tribulations. That’s not Paul’s message. Paul had the gospel of the grace of God hidden since before the word began Romans 16:25 with the ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:19-21.
@@JesusSavesSinners
You have so many errors in what your comment says I don’t even know where to start.
Ephesians 2:11-13 - AKJV
Paul said but now meaning today this would be during the DUE TIME MESSAGE GIVEN TO AND THOUGN HIM we have been brought near to God through the blood of Jesus Christ which would include the preach of the cross that was not being preached in Matthew they John and the early Acts period.
Romans 11:6 - AKJV
There was work of the flesh that Israel had to do to accompany their faith.
Romans 11:11-12,14,30-32 - AKJV
That’s the message of grace and reconciliation that apparently your ignorant of.
Howbeit for this cause 👉I obtained mercy👈, 👉that in me first 👈Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, 👉for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.👈

I'm sorry please forgive me it's not aks it's asks. I'm a foreigner and try to speak as proper as possible.
?
You obey God's commandment as an expression of your love and obedience. You don't have to obey the commandments to 'stay saved'.
Is Jesus Christ your Lord?? Do you accept him as your Lord?? Paul accepted him as Lord and Christ.
Romans 1:3, 1:7, 5:1, 5:11, 5:21, 6:11, 6:23, 7:25, 8:39, 13:14, 15:6, 15:30, 16:18, 16:20, 16:24
These are just the references in Romans.
Rosa Li
Your statement is you acknowledge Him as Lord, you start justifying your acceptance through obedience to His commandments.
Please show me a verse that shows acknowledged Him as Lord?
For 👉by grace are ye saved through faith👈; and that 👉not of yourselves: 👈it is the 👉gift of God👈: not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 - AKJV
So you are saying it is of yourself and you have to acknowledge Him as Lord. Which is not in the scriptures.
being 👉justified freely by his grace 👈through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:24 - AKJV
So is it justified freely or your acknowledgement that justified you which would be you justifying yourself.
See in the Ephesian 3:2 dispensation of the grace of God he is justifying you through his blood and he is bring you near to him and has made us accepted in Him.
but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off 👉are made nigh by the blood of Christ👈.
Ephesians 2:13 - AKJV
to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he 👉hath made us accepted in the beloved👈.
Ephesians 1:6 - AKJV
I did not say that Paul did not call him Lord. You are right we should call him as He deserves to be called by the Lord Jesus Christ; but that is not what saves anyone.

RIGHTEOUS JUDGE
Lord Greek - kyrios
The word is used in the New Testament in Matthew thru Revelation 748 time.
Matthew 7:21-23 - AKJV
1 When used in context with verse 15 verses 21-23 are talking about false prophets.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15 - AKJV
2 These people did confess Jesus as Lord therefor it can’t be by confessing Jesus as Lord.
3 John 6:39 tells us what the father’s will is.
And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6:39 - AKJV
4 The body of Christ will not enter into the kingdom they will be translated into the kingdom of his dear son. Translated taken from one and placed in another.
who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13 - AKJV
Then Lordship Salvationist use the fraise “If he is not Lord of all is he Lord at all”. The only time the fraise is used in the New Testament is in Acts 10:36.
The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Acts 10:36 - AKJV
If Jesus preached peace how can it be commanded to make him Lord over everything in your life. (Deuteronomy 10:14; Acts 17:24-26)
Bible’s definition - Lord
However the Bible give us the definition of how the word Lord is used.
Lord means - the righteous judge.
henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: (the judgment seat of Christ) and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (The rapture) 2 Timothy 4:8 - AKJV
Paul just gave us a definition for the Lord - the righteous judge.
Now let’s see if this hold true throughout scripture.
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. John 5:30 - AKJV
Peter tell the nation of Israel at Pentecost that Jesus whom you crucified is made both Lord and Christ.
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36 - AKJV
The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Psalm 7:8 - AKJV
God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 7:11 - AKJV
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. Psalm 9:8 - AKJV
Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Psalm 35:24 - AKJV
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. Psalm 50:6 - AKJV
O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Psalm 67:4 - AKJV
Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
Psalm 96:10 - AKJV
before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity. Psalm 98:9 - AKJV
But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. Jeremiah 11:20 - AKJV
Paul tells us that Jesus will judge the world in righteousness.
because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:31 - AKJV
Paul tells that God’s wrath will be revealed on the unrighteous.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:18 - AKJV
This is why Paul tells us that Jesus at this time in the dispensation of the grace of God Jesus is declaring his own righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth.
If Jesus is judging today by be righteous or unrighteous this would help us to understand why we have to receive imputed righteousness.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Romans 4:3 - AKJV
How was it count to him by believing God. Sounds simple.
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Romans 4:6 - AKJV
Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: Romans 4:9-11 - AKJV
Jesus is justifying mankind by his own imputed righteousness by faith in him.
We also today receive the circumcision of Christ as a seal; but one made without hands by the spiritual baptism into Christ death, burial, and resurrection.
in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Why would anyone want to remove the Name Of Jesus Christ from Baptism?
Galatians 1:4,6-12 - AKJV
You contradict yourself.
1 Corinthians 1:14,17-18 - AKJV
The twelve could not say any of this.
Mark 16:15-18 - AKJV
Now the verse does not say to pick which sign you want to believe it says the signs shall follows them plural meaning all of them will that believe. And yet you don’t have any of them.
These verses below no matter how you try to twist them do not say the same thing.
Prophecy spoken since the world began to and for the single nation of Israel is not the same a mystery kept secret since before the world began that is for all nations.

Christ is the end of the law for the Jews AT THAT TIME AND STILL TODAY. But it is not the end of the law.
Matt.5
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Isa.66
[22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Malachi 4 and the end of Zech 14 speaks of the feast of tabernacles. Not sure when the new heaven and earth happen in this but is close at hand.

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

@@markgenn8967 you started with the word context but yet you don’t honor context nor what the subject matter was or the audience being spoke to or or what’s being spoken about. None of this is my words so if you have a problem with them you might want to take it up with the Holy Spirit who inspired them and with God.
Peter was an Apostle to the circumcision with the gospel of the circumcision.
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me: but contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (for he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and 👉they unto the circumcision.👈
Galatians 2:6-9 - AKJV
When did you become apart of the covenant of circumcision and when did that become your gospel and your promises?
Paul had our gospel of the uncircumcision for the uncircumcision for the body of Christ. That’s two different messages.
Peter was still preaching fear and works of righteousness for salvation in Acts 10 which is the opposite of Paul for the body of Christ in Titus 3:5 which is by God’s mercy and not by works of righteousness that we have done.
but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Acts 10:35 - AKJV
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:5 - AKJV
Paul said that it’s being in Christ that made us accepted not fear and works of righteousness. That’s two different messages.
to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:6 - AKJV
Peter is preaching remission of sins through Jesus Christ name Paul preached forgiveness of sins through the person of Jesus Christ and his blood. That two different messages.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Acts 10:43 - AKJV
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Acts 13:38 - AKJV
whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 3:25 - AKJV
The reason remission of sins is past is because that was Israel’s prophecy program not our for the body of Christ.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 1:7 - AKJV
Peter said his gospel included water baptism; Paul said the gospel given to him did not include water anymore it was all about the cross. Anyone teaching water still today instead of the cross is foolish.
And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether👉 I baptized any other.👈 For 👉Christ sent me not to baptize,👈 but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1 Corinthians 1:16-17 - AKJV
Peter could not say he wasn’t sent to baptize. Paul could because something has changed.
Peter is preaching the message that was to the children of Israel in Acts 10 not the message given to Paul for ever nation Romans 1:5; 16:26 called the gospel of Christ. Not one Gentile was sent that message.
The word which God sent unto the 👉children of Israel, 👈preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Acts 10:36 - AKJV
In case you missed it the message and the baptism of John was also for the nation of Israel. There again no Gentile involved during that message.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, (his people at that time was Israel and was not Gentiles)
Luke 1:68 - AKJV
Yes all that happened in Acts chapter 10 was amazing to Peter and they of the circumcision because up to that point not one Gentile had been saved by them in 10 years since the cross. Jesus Christ had to force Peter to go to Cornelius to show him something was about to change with the starting of Paul’s ministry with the gospel of the grace of God. None of what Peter said is for your salvation either in Acts chapter 2 or in Acts chapter 10. You like the water baptism of Acts chapter 2 but skip right over sell all that you own in Acts 2:44-45 just as Jesus commanded them to do in Luke 18:18-25.
We have our own promises through Christ not through Israel.
Paul the Apostle to the gentiles
Paul was chosen by the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ in Acts Chapter 9.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for 👉he is a chosen vessel unto me,👈 to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Acts 9:15 - AKJV
came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. And he said, 👉The God of our fathers hath chosen thee,👈 that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. Acts 22:13-14 - AKJV
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Acts 26:14-18 - AKJV
After Israel’s fall in Acts chapter seven the whole world is now considered Gentile and heathens in the sight of God.
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Acts 13:2 - AKJV
Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
Acts 13:9 - AKJV
The Holy Ghost separated Saul/Paul for the purpose and will in which Jesus had called him and chose him for.
Galatians 2:7-9; Romans 11:13; Acts 9:15-16; Acts 26:16-18; 1 Timothy 2:7; 2 Timothy 1:11; 4:17; Romans 15:15-16; Ephesians 3:1; 3:8
Seventeen years after the cross the Acts 15 Jerusalem counsel happen and Galatians 2 is the back story of the events that took place.
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me: but contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (for he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) 9 and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, (Romans 12:13; 15:15; 1 Corinthians 3:10; Ephesians 3:2,7,8) they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Galatians 2:6-9 - AKJV
Paul said he was to go to Gentiles with the gospel of the uncircumcision and that he would go to the heathen. Today everyone is considered a heathen unless you are saved and are in Christ.
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Romans 11:13 - AKJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
John 13:20
If anyone is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, he must do so through the Lord's chosen messenger.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
Acts 9:15-16
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:16-18
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 1:6-12 - AKJV
Jesus Christ is our Savior, and so it is right for us to pay attention to every word He said; but since He was not talking to us, we do well to look to Paul for our doctrine because it is in Paul’s writings alone that we find Christ’s instructions for us today. (I Corinthians 14:37, Romans 11:13, I Timothy 1:16)
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
