I did this yesterday with some Spider HIDs and added some Hellas. Video was great, thanks so much for posting Two notes. I found that using can use the socket instead screwdriver in adding and removing the levelers was much easier and faster for me. Note that the bright lights bulbs come installed already, at least on your's and mine. I did remove and replace it just to ensure it was there.
Great vid Lach really helped heaps when installing my new highlights. Also found it a lot better if you use a socket for removing the adjustment motor bolt than trying to unscrew it. Cheers mate.
Lights look great, although it would be nice to see how they look at night. I am curios to see if those new projectors are of the same quality as the stock ones. Usually, aftermarket headlights have not so good projectors.
just installed my C lights using your video. Very helpful step by step made this install a breeze. One issue i came across has to do with my C light headlight and to install the HID bulb. The back doe snot have a screw to ground the wire to the igniter. Seem the brackets are slightly different, so just the igniter is attached and grounding wire not. The HIDS seem to work fine still however. Not the greatest with electrical so not sure if that will be an issue?
what is the part at 2:45 ? My stock headlights don't have that and when I bought the C type headlights doesn't have that part either? Anyone know what its called and how I can get it?
So the guy in the video has a WRX with HID headlights, so thats an HID headlight ballast or whatever... if you don't have it it it probably means your WRX has Halogen headlights i think you'll be fine though as most headlight kits arent HIDs
Did your car have a DRL relay from factory? I'd not I'd be interested to know how you installed one to meet compliance with dimming the LED 50% when the headlights are on.
Super awesome video man great explanation! I followed you all the way through and everything went good. My only question is my bulb that I switched from the oem lights seem to be aiming way too low through the new setup. Is there a way that I can adjust this?
I think I may have the same issue, is it like a little metal plate blocking the light? Like at night you’re driving and know that there’s something blocking your light? If so how’d you adjust this
@@christophersassine5894 I did actually! Never got to fixing it cause I’ve been too lazy to do it lol but, if you pop the hood and you look at your headlight, you won’t have to remove it there’s a little part where you can adjust it you just need a ratchet and an extension to get to it. I suggest turning your lights on and aiming them towards a wall or something you can get a reference as to whether it’s moving up and down because if you turn it clockwise or counterclockwise it goes up and down. Hope that helps I know it’s kind of complicated.
Hey mate not too sure about that one. Perhaps call up JDM accessories and enquire? Or you could try making one but I'm sure there's a reason it's not there with the new model?
can anyone link the bulbs required for these headlights ? or the subaru part number ? just got these as both my headlights blew and thought let’s just start again. but they didn’t come with bulbs 😂
Great vid. Easy to understand. What makes this headlight so much more expensive than similar style aftermarket lights? Looks like they have the typical thin wiring and brittle plastic. The oem lights are great but crazy expensive. I really need new headlights but hesitating to buy these awesome looking ones if they suck at their purpose. Are they as good or better than the oem at night?

does anyone know how to adjust the bulbs? mine are just pointing straight down to the road and i can’t see anything.. i did re-attach the auto leveler but that does not seem to be working ?
