I don’t know how to thank you bro in the last 2 years I have been watching you and you helped with a lot of game aspects helping me hitting my first master rank
Absolutely brilliant video, good tips. I think the most important thing to do is to stay calm and analyse the situation, think about your best move and execute it accordingly without entering panic mode lmao. GG Sultan!
@@sunrphan5152 he was just saying that that part was the MOST important part lol. Validation. When I first started looking for tips and videos, I wouldn't pay attention as much to comments or tips that didn't have other people saying stuff like that. If you have a bunch of people saying the same thing, you pretty much know your can trust it
@@sunrphan5152 sometimes common sense isn't so common to everyone though. I totally get your point, but several people I know don't listen to points like this, and they ALWAYS rush in and get killed lol. They panic and just run head first to their deaths. It's like they can't think straight or something
This is the best put together video I’ve seen. It was exactly what the description said it would be, the commentating was super clear and insightful. This man is soooo good!
I'm newer to apex. The tips and tricks here are things I literally never even thought about. I know all the legends and their abilities, but thinking about the octane/vantage fight, I never would've thought about the push to height they have. Nor their ability to just tag and kill me as fast. Hell even keeping shields up to discourage pushing is something that blew my mind. Simple shit, but easily abused. Amazing video my guy
You are good in explaining. This is reason I play solo better than with randoms. They either get knocked or cracked letting enemies pushing me blindly.
Hey man, steady D4 PC roller player, this video is extremely solid. I’ll probably watch it multiple times to really analyze the mindset. I’ve been playing with a bunch of my friends who are all multi-pred/consistent masters players, and the positioning/angles aspect is my biggest drawback. Whenever they tell me where to go or the play to make, every match is flawless, and when they have to clutch up for me then it’s normally a 90% win outcome. But when I’m left to do the work I feel like a sitting duck. Thank you for the tips and the in-depth play by play, much appreciated!
The tip about topping off health before worrying about shields in a storm fight is going to stick with me forever. This video is fantastic as usual, thank you!
just found this vid on the recommended feed.. pretty good tips on positioning and awareness, even for beginners. It would be interesting to see how it would be different for different types of legends/playstyle. Valk is one of the high mobility legends that can easily take the high ground advantage. As opposed to the defensive legends like caustic and rampart. Like in the final fight, how should the opposing team have played to better their odds against you.
That team specifically needed a little more confidence, I approached them 3x total (1st and 2nd they ran and or bunkered down). Its not bad to play passive but not pushing or attacking when needed was their ultimate downfall. For the last fight of the game however, they should of taken better positioning based on the zone we had. Instead of playing directly underneath me, they should of played at the exact spot I was when I killed them.
this is awesome man i find myself solo most of the time! today i choked a 1v3 fight. had 1 down and 2 so weak but i played positioning not well! anyway thanks for the upload.
9:19 " if I wasn't Valkyrie I would walk through this choke and swing left maybe even swing wide left." How very optimistic. This is Kings Canyon my friend, there are likely three squads over there waiting to gatekeep you.😄 on a serious note, great video. I would love it if you made more of these. Apart from Das' ranked Lobby spectating /analysis, there's not enough content like this on UA-cam, and that's a shame.
I love seeing your thought process behind what you did. I can solo squads but it's still kinda hard for me. I'm just tryna get better and this'll definitely help.
Another amazing educational vid Sultan! Thanks! One of the hardest thing in the game.. asses your own skills CORRECTLY and dont get too excited/thirsty haha
Man I've watched a ton of strat gameplay and how to type vids. You explain things very clear and consice. And it actually makes sence. I find as a newer player that my opponents have decent guns kill but so much of what they do in a fight there pushes there approach is always so hard to predict as it never makes sence. Lol. But your vids are great and I'm subbed
As someone new to the game, I immediately started solo queuing because one of the things I realized quickly is that my positioning is god awful during fights, and when I tunnel vision on one person, I usually get knocked by the other two I completely ignored. That and also I hate that when I play usually have to depends on teammates to win fights. I understand it's a team game but I want to be the carry, not get carried
Yeah idk i must build that solo mindset the way we analize , dont make urself fleash , have some good spot and good cover and must important dont push enemy to hard
I win most 2vs1 fights in duos. It's the 3vs1's that get me. It can be 5-6 knocks to kill a full squad of 3 sometimes and by that time a 3rd party is there before I can complete it.
Instant subscriber off of this fantastic video!!👍🏽 absolutely love the play by play with the tips included and the thought process to that well played victory🙏🏽 appreciate the content we need more like this
Solo duos can be somewhat harder than solo trios as odd as that sounds. I always surprise myself with how quick I wipe uncoordinated trio squads. With duos, most teams are on discord calls and play a lot less loose, therefore harder to separate especially with non-movement legends. While in trios, you're going to have more solo queue teams that play a bit more sloppy. Yes, you will always come across trio stacks but there are fewer to deal with because of less teams and trios is generally the more popular mode among solo players. But yeah, in my experience I have a lot more success no filling trios than duos. 🤷♂
Haven't finished the video, but I would just like to say that I think a video like this would be better served with a different legend than valk, she has free movement that gives here more options than any other legend, quite a cheap legend honestly cheers, I'v still learnt some things
Damn, cheap though? Lol. You got path, Horizon, octane and now Vantage who can all keep up with valk. Like those legends, you have to time when to use your tactical and alt. Every time a Valk flys, her position is given away. So, it's not like it's hard to find her. If you get caught out in the open and take any kind of flight, you get beamed!! Trying to find a good position to hit her alt isn't the easiest either when you're in close quarters combat. The main reason people are able to wipe squads with any legend is because they truly have the ability to gage a situation and determine the risk quickly. If I had to say my least liked character that I hate going against, that would be Seers wall hacking axx!! Lol have a good one man
@@EVLHernandez You make good points man I'm just saying everyone knows valk is the goat at positioning in apex, so a video about positioning would be better with a legend without movement ( imo ) :D don't remind me of seer..... :x cheers 😄
A very great educational video on the game really learnt a lot, i play the mobile version of the game and i know there are a lot of differences between the PC/Console version and the mobile version but it helped me in the strategic parts of the game knowing when to play passively or go full aggressive THANKS a lot 😎
Enemies : I hate youuuu Anakin Skywalker : i hate youuuu Obi-Wan: [jumps down to Grievous] Hello, there. Sultan : [jumps down to enemies] Hello, there.
I think this type of content would be more effective if you play with a character that doesn't have the type of abilities valk can rely on. Still, it's nice to see someone break down strategies for those with no game sense.
Your first fight with Valk/Hound, I would have went for the Hound first after he got the res off. When you wipe him, you know the Valk is low and basically a free kill. However, if Hound gets the res and gets out, and Valk gets a few shots on you - you're now at a disadvantage with the Hound after killing the Valk. Otherwise, appreciate the tips. Always looking to improve so thanks for sharing your thought process in the different scenarios you were in.
The best bet for me is to isolate these teams. I’ve never seen someone solo all three players on a team successfully. Baiting one of them at a time works best
Well done.....I mainly play with randoms and they mostly charge in, get knocked and leave the game. I would never take on a Valkarie when she has that kind of height she's untouchable as long as she plays the way you do.... that Caustic should have already been in the building where he dominates.
@@SultanDYT You probably know this by now but when you get hit with a vantage bullet there is a timer pops up next to your tactical ability that shows how long you take extra damage for
How about a break down for ranked szn 14 I feel like the thought processes are different compared to pubs, especially since ppl are playing hyper aggressively for a single kill, not the best scenario for a solo
Went from plat 1 to d2 in one day on pc lobbies (diamond lobbies for pc are pred lobbies), this ranked split is more about kills, rushing, reckless pushes, etc. I would say the biggest tip is fight for the third party, most fair 3v3 squad fights the team will either run away or you will get third partied. Unless you can mange a flawless clean and fast wipe. I started running pathfinder and my one teammate was octane some of the times to help prevent teams from running away. Especially after the first knock.
Yea same here day 2 of season reset I was diamond and it’s the same on console (I have a screenshot of the #1 pred killing me)but I solo que so diamond lobbies are even harder to me
Where are my SOLO WARLORDS at?
I use to be a solo warlord not anymore which is why am here to reclaim that title 💪🏽
I don’t know how to thank you bro in the last 2 years I have been watching you and you helped with a lot of game aspects helping me hitting my first master rank
If you consider me being d4 solo warlord then what’s up

In my servers no one plays duos so I am working hard to get the solo trio dub
I love how you compliment good plays by your opponents...its a great learning device
