This is probably one of the best explanations of how "deadzone" and "response curve" can affect your control. Well done. Once someone understands what each of the setting do, the ALC controls are far more superior than the basic settings. Your "Yaw" and "Pitch" speed set at a controllable setting is the basic movement setting but understanding that you can have those lightning fast turnarounds by adjusting your "extra yaw" and "extra pitch" speed with the right "outer threshold" setting is what sets basic settings and ALC settings apart. Same goes for the "ADS Yaw" and "ADS Pitch" being at a controllable aiming movement, then cranking that "Extra ADS Yaw & Pitch" up to be able transition from target to target and faster speeds. Anyone who tells you basic settings are better than ALC setting, hasn't taken the time to understand what they do and how one setting changes another.
Love you apex demons🙏 i hate comments like 'i play on 3-3 classic, i dont have the time to adjust and im doing just fine look at my stats - then have like 20k games on apex... 🤣'. Its not personally modified for your needs😭🤒
I would agree with this but a majority of pro players run 4-3 or 4-4 classic no dead zone and they are the best in the world so I think it just matters person to person. Personally I think that alc will mess up your aim more than help it for most people.
i’m a little late but must say this guide is very much useful. there aren’t many videos out there, especially for controller, that really take a deep dive into specific mechanics, not just for recoil control but for aim overall as well as movement. well done.
Dude.. that response curve info was game changing. Never heard it officially broken down like that. Thanks really helped me fine tune my aim. Now It is cracked more than ever. 😎
If you don't have paddles on the back I really recommend using complete custom blinds putting jump and slide on "r trigger" and "l trigger". Moving aiming and fire to "lb" and "rb"I moved tactical to "left stick click" and turned on auto sprint. Tossed ping on "y" and and weapon sway on "a" and healing on "right stick click". Definitely more streamlined but takes time to get used to.
I’ve recently began experimenting with ALC and focused everything on pitch and yaw but your explanation of resonse curve and deadzone completely changed my thinking and now I’m feeling a lot more confident in my aim thank you 🙏
Wow I've been playing for years. Watched this video and went into the range, i'm just amazed. Lowering my deadzone alone made recoil control so much easier for me. I'm still finding my response curve, but overall this was amazing. Thanks a ton for this video just wow!!!
Great vid dude (coupled with the strafing vid)... superb tips & Ive noticed a difference in my aim already. Got my first 8 kill game today with nearly 1900 damage, something which Ive not come close to before (previous high was 6 kills & 1580 damage)... keep up the good work
I’ve watched so many recoil control videos never really seen anybody talk ab reactive recoil control even tho I already understood the concept this was a real eye opener on how little I actually work on it . I’m always spamming pattern practice but in game I mess the pattern up alot and reactive practice is perfect to counteract that and I can’t even think of the last time I tried .Good shit bro
Thanks. I’ve watched tons of tutorials and you BY FAR were the most straightforward and easy to understand and…really really useful. I’m very new to the game, btw. Subbed!
You are the 🐐 my game improved drastically. Within the past week alone I went from 1-3 Avg kills 300-600 damage a game to 6-9 Avg kills 600-1000 damage a game. Even got my wipe 3 full squads badge!
Literally no one has over 6.0 kdr the matchmaking would put you against preds and if you kept it up in those lobbies you could go pro seems like big cap
@@vihreakuula4319 of course not every game I’m dropping 6-9 kills. Avg and KD are way different bud, but majority of the time I’m getting in pubs I am dropping minimum 6 kills and I do get dropped in lobbies with Preds and masters they getting at least 10-20 kills that’s a huge different pros are doing this consistently and in ranked. I have videos and if you don’t believe you can hop on with me and find out yourself. Wiping 2 squads or getting 6 kills isn’t hard at all you must be a noob

As an M&K player, I was curious about understanding the mechanics and settings of da roller. This video definitely gave great insight, so thank you for that. Not a fan about how you throw shade at us though.
Okay, look. Whenever people told me to change my sens, I just said my sens is fine and I don't need to tweak it. After watching this, I figured I'd try to play around with it and ended up on 3% deadzone, 3 response curve (from 4-4 classic before) and it feels so good. I'm hitting disgusting beams, it feels like I have no recoil anymore. My Flatline especially feels so much more stable. Truly game changing advice. Thank you so much for this!
Bro so I watched this last night and I decided to mess with my advanced look controls right now since I hopped on and dude it’s way smoother! super helpful video and just super informative. awesome work!
Brilliant video district, thanks for always thinking about your viewers (changing to pc) I have watched a lot of your coaching and it has helped me improve a lot! Keep it up mate
I added your warm up routine this morning to my fire Range warm up with my other warm ups and like 4th game on today I got my Second 2K damage game and 10 kill Dub Keep up great work with UA-cam I’m going keep doing this warm up every day in fire range For you know if i keep doing this routine I should be dropping high kills and higher damage games thank you for making this video
Note: the recoil pattern never changes. I utilize this fact. So I've been basically doing just the First Method, but I've memorized how long it takes till it shifts suddenly and etc. I thought the rampage was the hardest thing to use, but after literal seconds in the range, it's been rewarding from distances of 10 - 200m The only setting i got are 110 pov and High sensitivity
Been to the range recently to check how consistent the pattern on a couple guns is. (just shooting a full mag at a wall without any attempt to compensate) and yes, the pattern is pretty consistent even across different ranges, in only spreads out mroe on longer range.
Your content is amazing! I’ve watched 2 of your videos in the last day and it’s majorly improved my Apex Legends gameplay a lot 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks brother keep up the work 👌🏼

Ima definitely mess with my response. That helps a lot. I always knew what everything did but the way you explained it. All i need to do is lower my response. I'm on a 10 outer threshold though bc it's takes less pull get the recoil control.. so I gotta see.
bro I knew my controller had bad stick drift so I bought a new one and started playing and it was still drifting I was like wtf now with you explaining this about Deadzone it helps a lot best video TY bro
The response curve thing is insane, at first it was awful for me cos i was still trying to control the recoil from muscle memory but tjem i just kept the stick still and had no recoil at all, appreciate it
Bro the difference between controller and mnk when it comes to recoil is honestly insane, like when it's decently difficult to control on controller its leaps and bounds easier on mnk. And before anybody says anything, I've been a sole controller player in apex since release with a few times I've tried mnk but never stayed on it. I am currently learning mnk on apex for the last 3 days, with a background of playing mnk for about 3 or 4 years. While I am certainly not new to mnk overall, I am new in regards to apex.
Trust that i'll be the 1% that incorporates all of this to their game lol. My ALC settings randomly reset about a month ago and I haven't been feeling as comfortable on the sticks. It's been a transition but this video helped me put things into perspective when it came to the deadzone and response curve.
I think i do something similar to jitter aiming. When i ads i do small taps down on my r stick and it helps a lot for me. so if you cant jitter aim just try that
This actually WORKS! ADS recoil is drastically reduced w this set up. Hip firing will take some time getting used to, i still haven’t gotten the hang of it, lowering YAW and pitch speed will help with that.
