Man, sounds like you have serious GAS. I recently spent waaaaay too much on a dream guitar of mine. It exceeded all my expectations. But it has made me realize guitars are just guitars. They don’t really make you happy at the end of the day. There will always be an emptiness to fill. Two weeks later and I am again looking for more guitars!! 😤 It. Never. Ends.
I'm actually pretty good for now tbh, but I always try to save a bit of money every month just in case something catches my attention. And yes it never ends. I have just accepted that part, but usually I sell one or two to be able to buy a new one. 🙂
My next guitar? I’ve been on the lookout for a 12 String Acoustic. A family friend has a 12-string Martin that I fell in love with. That way I can channel my inner Tom Petty/Neil Finn when I play and sing. Btw I think the Nik Huber looks sick. I’d get one of those.
Oh cant beat 12 strings, beautiful sounds! Oh the nik huber is definitely on my list for sure. Might take some time to be able to buy one though haha. But it will definitely happen at some point for sure 🙂
My wife bought me a Japanese Fender as a wedding gift. It was the HM strat reissue and the setup out of the box was AWFUL, easily the worst I’ve ever seen. The machine heads were all turned so they were inline with the neck, the nut looked like it hadn’t been filed down in the factory, the highest action I’ve ever tried and the Floyd rose wasn’t even remotely setup correctly. I took it to a tech who got it all setup correctly (including filing the nut down so that it was usable…) and it is now a great guitar, but it never should have left the factory or guitar shop in the state it was. If it hadn’t have been a gift from my wife it would have been returned, but as it was all things that a tech could easily fix I kept it. Definitely glad I did, but you should be wary about buying a Japanese Fender online without trying first
Ah yeah that's my worry too. Though i tend to leave most of my guitars to guitar techs to have them set up. 🙂 thanks for the information man, I appreciate it so much! 🙏
@@alexradsby Obviously they are legendary for hollow bodies, but if that’s not your thing the Jets are awesome. Not to mention the killer center block models. They can handle high gain / high volume without the hollow body howl. They have so many options at this point it makes my head spin. Obviously if you can afford the proline models they are worth every penny and hold their value. Although I don’t have an Electromatic model I must admit that in the last few years they have become remarkably good and affordable! Tim Pierce has a great video on this subject.
@AlexRadsby Hello again!!!!! D-Mack here.......My next guitar would be a Gibson 335 or an Epiphone Casino OR BOTH!!!! Did you ever get to look up those pickups I suggested? "D"
I did look into them yes! They are definitely on the list to try out at some point! Though, I went another route for now. Got a good deal on a Lundgren pickup Ive wanted to try out for quite some time. I'll make a video about it as soon as I can get it fitted into the LP 🙂
I would love another EBMM! The PRS looks awesome but I can't deal with a Floyd rose man, waay to much for me. Yes it's horrible, all of us in Sweden are chocked about the whole situation
@@alexradsby You can lock the trem and its the most stable tuning you can imagine. Block off that bad boy and center up the micro tuners. Thanks for the kind words brother

Get another EBMM or the PRS Waring guitar. May the Lord God help those who lost their children this week. Sorry to derail Alex
