There’s something about Florence Pugh’s acting that seems so natural and sincere. This looks really heart felt.

Parts of A Good Person were shot inside my house (bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, study, living room and exteriors) and in my town of Rutherford. The production company, crafts, departments and cast were all outstanding. I know because I do Location Management. This came to me out of nowhere and I was just the "homeowner". Director Zach Braff just has a wonderful deft feel for all aspects of his films. He is a total Jersey guy and the cinematic and sound textures he uses really are sweet signatures on his projects. He put together an outstanding group of union professionals and the care shows!
That’s while. I had some shot in my house as well. The bathroom, the kitchen. The study the living room the garage the backyard the bakery , the dining room, the non study the extra kitchen the guest house….

I just saw this. Literally cried the whole way through. As a recovering addict myself this was beyond moving. Florence's performance was flawless. Beautifully made. A must see.

When I was 12 my dad died in a car accident that I was in with him. When I was 23 I got sober from alcohol and drug addiction. This movie is probably going to make me bawl my eyes out the entire time, but I'm also grateful that it was made. I feel like I'm seeing parts of myself on screen. It's hard to find people out there that I feel like could understand that particular type of trauma. I'm looking forward to watching this.

I was offered a very small role in this film during a bar scene & had to turn down the offer due to it being shot in NJ/NY during Thanksgiving, I would've needed to be gone for five days & just couldn't make it work.... but ever since then, I've had so many amazing opportunities in the film industry come my way. This was my first offer in a major film & I will always look at this as my good luck charm bc ever since then- I've been steadily being pushed into the film industry one opportunity at a time. Zach Braff has been my favorite writer & director since Garden State... the caliber in which this man writes & films is beyond great & I just know this will be a hit. Can't wait to see this in theaters

I really liked everything about this film. Florence Pugh is amazing. I love the rawness of emotion. The desire to forgive, yet anger is always simmering. Guilt is a dangerous emotion. The model trains were a wonderfully delicate & subtle symbol that represents the life they wanted, & the lives they ended up with. A truly beautiful film.
I loved this film. Couldn’t stop the tears from flowing and enjoyed the cast performances, especially Morgan Freeman and Florence Pugh. I’m glad I saw A Good Person.

As someone who struggles with Trauma and alcohol addiction from said Trauma, I think I'm going to really connect with this film. I LOVE Florence more than life itself, and Garden state has always been one of my favorite movies, I'm so excited!

It was emotionally touching, uplifting, comedic, and heavily fueled by Florence Pugh's performance and chemistry with Morgan Freeman.
Came here from the "Fake Doctors, Real Friends" podcast. Today's episode was Zach and Florence talking about making the film while living together during Covid. It's a great listen to give some background
So glad to see Zach Braff behind the directors chair on a story he crafted, again. I love Garden State so much and this seems like it is cut from the same cloth. Excited to see this one :-)

Just saw this last night. I don't wanna spoil anything... but this movie broke me down. I recommend this to anyone dealing with grief. The trailer hardly does this film justice. So emotionally layered.
Looking forward to the soundtrack if the music in the trailer is really in the film. Zach chooses great music that tugs at your heartstrings in ways that enhance every scene.

Those were the best songs in the movie.

As soon as Time by Angelo de Augustine played, tears started welling up my eyes. Can't wait to see this movie! Florence and Freeman are gonna make me cry.
Once you finish watching this movie you'll realize that the title applies on every character. They're all 'a good person ' with good intentions who's trying to do the best they can. They're all did things they regret and they're trying their best to do better. I walked in didn't expected it would be this deep and beautiful. If you haven't seen it yet, you definitely should 🔥
This looks amazing and it has three of my faves involved: Morgan, Florence and Zach. I can't wait to see it.

I have ALWAYS enjoyed watching the types of movies that pull at your heartstrings & I know a lot of that has to do with the fact that I was a psychology major in college so with that being said, I know I'm definitely going to enjoy watching this movie.
I watched the film right now, finished around 4:00 o’clock in the night/morning and with a little tear in my eye, I can only say:

an emotional rollercoaster that exposes the raw life of those addicted to pain killers and alchol! Amazing acting, but then with this cast, how could they have gone wrong! Florence gives an Oscar winning performance!

This movie is really good for an indie film. I am glad Morgan Freeman accepted to be in it. The story and the acting are great on all sides, but you can tell it's low budget. Regardless, it is great! And this guy's acting at 82-83 is simply baffling. He's literally a work of art!
P. S. The music is also very well picked. The ideas are brilliant. I wish their budget was bigger. And you can hear Zach Braff in it. I am a massive Scrubs fan too.

Really enjoyed this film. I understood why some critics didn't enjoy it but I ultimately didn't care because the performances were great. It was just a movie that no matter how sad it was, left me feeling a happy.
