Another great vid Adam :) I am really considering installing both front and rear boot struts. Probabky going ti get this question a lot but have you noticed any difference with the car since installing both front and rear strut braces? Cheers :)
Cheers Matt :) I feel that I have a lot of confidence in the steering, feels really solid. As to whether it is placebo or real, it is hard to say but They aren't that expensive and not that hard to install so I figure it makes sense to do anything I can to make improvements. It is likely that most of the real 'feel' would be felt on track. But either way, they look awesome! :D
Easy enough, it only makes it hard to get at one of the jobbys that hold the cover on so I would just pull the others and then get the cover a tap from below for the last one and off it comes
so if you know that then you should know the benefits and saying that the window frame is all you need is plainly wrong. There are engineering blogs out there that you can read. Do your research before making silly claims
Looks good! Random question, but I couldn’t find a video of yours that shows anything relating to springs. Have you replaced the springs at all? If so, which brand did you go for?
Nice one. Do you find it understeering a bit more since stiffening up the front? My car is completely standard and find it already understeers a fair bit when pushing it.
I don't notice any extra understeer. I have a lot of confidence in the steering. More improvements can be made in the future to improve things of course
Hi Adam, Like what you have been doing to your car. You may, from your comments about the engine bay, be interested in Car Enhancements UK. I have a 65 reg Zetec S Fiesta and bought an 'engine bay and boot dress up kit, option 3.' Take a look, there are several 'accent' colours to choose from. Just out of interest, I chose orange, my car is white. Do like the strut brace, do want!
Cheers Bob! I got the strut brace from CEUK! I have been thinking about some more things for under there like a carbon engine cove and things like that but my money is going on other things right now!
Hi mate, just wondering what thread size the nuts were that you replaced the original strut retainers with? Looking at nipping down to screwfix to get some now. Thanks for the help man, great videos as always I can depend on you 😆
Hello, honestly not sure their technical size - when I bought them I just bought nuts guaranteed fiesta compatible from a car parts seller without asking for a size
Cheers random chap! The theory would be that it ties the struts together so reduces flex, reduces body roll, increases cornering stability and all that sort of jazz. But tbh, as long as it looks cool then it is cool with me :P
Hi Adam, Great Video!! I have a couple questions for you: 1) I have the 2j-r intake installed in my ST, wondering do you know if this strut bar will work around that? It doesn't look like it would be a problem, but just wanted to check to see if you know anyone that has done the 2j-r intake with this strut bar. And 2) I'm having trouble finding that exact Strut brace online. Can you help me out with a link to the store to purchase it? Thank you! Going to go through more of your video's!
Hey Adam, another great simple to follow video! :-) Be interested to hear from you some real road handling feedback on it mate. See if you do notice the benefits these are supposed to deliver. Get yourself on a track too! ;-)
You have awesome camera presence and a very fun and clear way of explaining things. job well done Ads.
Cheers Craigo :)
Thanks for adding the torque specs! Rarely that happens
no problemo :)
Your videos have really made me consider buying a fiesta st as my first car. Look forward to more mods in the future
Cheers Liam - it is a great car for sure! :)
Looks great, nice work Adam
Thanks Joe! :)
Awesome video as always Adam. Much love!
Cheers Lewis! Love and kisses back at ye sir! :)
Awesome video mate! Congrats on 3k subs!!
Cheers mate!
Another great video mate 👍🏻
Cheers! :D
Looking to get one of these myself. Nice video adam. I will probably use your vid to get the torque figures right for the bolts 😅
Cheers Kevin, happy to help!
Wow.. That actually looks amazing 👍👍👍👍👍
I agree! Worth it just for how cool it looks :D

With the strut brace on how easy is it to take the engine cover off. Great video as always.
Easy enough, it only makes it hard to get at one of the jobbys that hold the cover on so I would just pull the others and then get the cover a tap from below for the last one and off it comes
Thanks Adam for the reply might get one soon.
That windshield frame is doing the work no need of aftermarket mods
you are wrong lol
@@AdamRainey mat maann...
I don't know what that means but you clearly have a lack of understanding of what this mod does
@@AdamRainey structural rigidity increase with this...

Hi Joseph, I am still on stock springs but I have a set of the Mountune springs ready to go on so watch this space, cheers :D
Thanks Adam. Just ordered a set for myself. Look forward to seeing how you get on with them!
Where did you get 30 newton? I find 48 in the manual

Not to worry man, I called my local Ford garage they are m8x1.25 incase anyone reads this wants to know
Ah ok cool, thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for that
Hi! I'm new to your channel. Cool car man! Does the brace serve any purpose? Or is it just a cosmetic cool thing?
Cheers random chap! The theory would be that it ties the struts together so reduces flex, reduces body roll, increases cornering stability and all that sort of jazz. But tbh, as long as it looks cool then it is cool with me :P
Adam Rainey does look cool dude. May consider that for me. Can imagine it's pretty inexpensive.
yea less than 200 quid and if you can find a discount code, ur winning!
Looking at this brace it’s not straight left pillar to right pillar but stick out thus having a torsion effect.
Looks awesome though!
Where did you get all the red caps? Been looking for some
I think they same from SiCo developments
Adam I need one of the braces do you have a link
where can I get the replacement hardware that you used???
I got the nuts from a seller on ebay

With the brace in place does it make it awkward to access the fuse box on the right hand side?
I haven't needed into the fuse box to really know but most of it is still exposed so should be grand :D
Any idea if this fits the us spec Fiesta St?
I think it would yea
Is there rust under the cowl?
There was a bit man yea, fairly normal ish I think lol
@@AdamRainey thanks

Cheers David! I haven't driven it overly hard yet but I would imagine benefits would be mainly on track so I may need to get that booked!
Hi Adam, sorry mate but did you say 13 or 30nm? Sounds 13 to me, cheers pal
Not far of the 3k mark now!
I know John, very cool! Cheers :D
