For those trying to do this every excersize kind of drill thing he does do it lots of times because it is supposed to build up muscle memory so it makes backflips feel easier
i was doing this at night 😬 i did ask for permisson because im under 18 and i did it non-stop until the 4:48 because i knew it would be loud And dangerous but i did do all the steps before it first try. Thank You So Much Nick. I hope you see this and recognize me😁
I'm gonna be honest, I got a lot of respect for this guy. First video I watched of his, and I still couldn't get the trick, but despite that, I really admire how upfront he is about being safe and having permission. It's admirable and something that gets harder and harder to come by.
Lucky, i'm 14 years, which means i have to ask my parents, but they don't wanna let me because they're only thinking about our neighbours who does a lot of noise during the night because i live in an apartement 😭. Atleast i can do those progressions for the day .
@@tweetybird9169you're a very good son. You actually listen to the UA-cam tutorial when they say that you need adult supervision. A lot of kids your age would try to do this themselves and risk injuring themselves.
@@MuffinEnjoyeri did all those progressions, i just need to get my spotter because i'm still not confident and this week my mom will pay for a gymnastics center and i'll finally end up landing my backflip :) .
Thanks for uploading this. I always thought it was for people who are gifted. But it seems so much easier than I thought? Just about 3 minutes after watching it I did a perfect back flip
Coming from a gymnast- It may look easy but it is not and is extremely dangerous, I do not recommend doing this at home, I recommend going to a gymnastics gymnasium or a trampoline park (if you have a trampoline that is great!) It took me over a year to learn my backhand spring and my back tuck (back flip). If you really want to learn it it takes hours of training and practice. If you want to be safe and learn it correctly take gymnastics lessons, trust me it will save you time and you will learn the skill safely and correctly, for instance I self taught myself a front walkover years ago and when I come up, one hand was always a bit behind the other, it may seem like a small little thing but one wrong thing could lead to problems. Gymnastics is an extremely dangerous sport, my friend broke her ankle from just doing a lever in beam (a lever is an exercise similar to a hand stand) and my other friend broke her finger doing a back hand spring (she does competition and is very skilled in gymnastics) it is so easy to get hurt, I almost broke my back doing a back tuck (back flip) on my trampoline because I landed on my knees and my back went out sideways (I have a vid) it was very scary. I’m not saying to not do a back flip, I’m just saying to be very careful and trying it without a spoter or coach watching and on a mattress is not a good idea at all, just by landing on your neck could leave you paralyzed for life, it’s not worth the risk just to show off a cool skill.
I love how he first addresses that it could be dangerous be smart about it and I love how he starts with a warm up. I asked my parents if I could borrow their extra mattress and I practiced it and now I can do it anywhere
