No lens cap makes sense if they're all in the bag but no rear lens cap would drive me nuts. The thought of dust and lint getting in there freaks me out.
It’s funny after 25 years I’m using Xe4 and 50 f2 . Never done professionally work full time. I like the simplicity and focus on results. It’s like a weight off my shoulders. Great subject!
Thank you, this is interesting. I use this bag a lot too, this is nice to see a minimalist approach about photography bag and setup. Happy new year and best continuation !
Hi Bryce, nice camera setuo you have there! It would have been interesting to see some examples of the photos you take with those lenses. And one question, how do you like the colors on your ipad compared to a laptop or desktop pc?
I have a Ricoh 8.1 megapixel GR digital camera which I use for black and white at high isos for creative work. I love it's filmic qualities. I did my last wedding assignment in 2008 for a friend with a Nikon D40 with a Nikon 18 70 f 3.5 /f4.5 lens and a Sb600 Speedlight flash. I used a 55 to 200 tele for candid shots and Nikon 50mm 1.8 for low light without flash. The pictures were superb. I just gave him the card. I don't do any paid work anymore. I carry the Ricoh in my pocket everywhere with a spare card and battery. It does colour well and has a cute pop up flash which gets people smiling immediately.
thanks for the vid! Since you shoot with the 50 primarily and use the 16mm f/1.4 for context, why's it that you find yourself using the 23 more than 35? Maybe a similar question is if you had the 16mm and 50mm (or 56mm), would you choose the 23mm or 35mm if you had to bring only one?
I’m not a professional, but I do enjoy small camaras I feel weird taking out huge gear when I’m withe the family, so I switched from canon full frame to sony A7c full frame too but feels like an apsc. Sony also has sone small great full frame lenses like the 55mm zeiss the 20mm 1.8 and sigma 28-70. I carry all this in a peak’s design shoulder bad jut a bit bigger than yours and I love it
Nice of you too say. By my standard it’s the biggest piece of garbage content I’ve ever put on internet, ironically most successful video on channel. think I should make more videos?
Does the eye-focus work if you have it in OVF-mode on the X-Pro2? The reason I ask is that on my X-Pro2 the eye focus stuff turns off when I'm in OVF and reverts to point or regular area focus. Thanks for a great video! Sounds like a great setup!
@@bryceseidell8021 Damn. The X-Pro3 suddenly became more attractive to me. Haha. Thanks for answering! By the way: do you use all the lenses with the OVF? Only some?
@@bryceseidell8021 I was specifically thinking about using the OVF with the XF50mm f2 as that's the only one I haven't tested with an OVF so far. And yeah: strong agree regarding zooms, tho, that's partially why I dislike zooms in the first place. I really like using the OVF.
the vibes are immaculate
Love the mood in this video! Nice camera setup as well

Amateur photographers clean the front of the lens, professionals keep the rear element clean.

How's it a weight *off* your shoulders, if you've never done professional work?

Loved hearing about your thought process, and the mini-review of the X-Pro3. Thanks!
You've inspired me to simplify. Time to re-think full frame & carrying heavy lenses--takes the fun out of walking about & impromptu photographing.

No flash?
Nope. Reflectors.
How’s the camera holding up today?
Used it until shutter count of 50,000 worked perfectly entire time.
Here's a little suggestion for your kit: A FUCKING CAMERA STRAP.
Get one.
I took your advice. Got one. I’m not enjoying it very much however 🤷♂️
helpful, thanks :)
