I really enjoyed listening to this deeper interpretation of the Mary and Martha story. Especially loved Our Lord calling Martha twice... to enable her to find herself. The link to stress is important to...a malaise of our modern world. We all need to find ourselves and be grounded. Faith, I feel, is the key to this for me, not that I do not have anxiety sometimes. We all need help in these strange times.

Hello, I feel the continuation of the story of Martha and Mary is to be found in the Gospel of John (Ch11:v1--12:11). Where Martha is no longer distracted by many things. Mary is once again at Jesus' feet, but for a different reason. Her faith is less than Martha's, she is now the one in need of the Lord's compassion.
