Thank you for the info on oven drying for those of us who don’t own a dehydrator and I actually am glad I didn’t go and purchase one! Lol I have tons of catnip growing and I took a large flowering branch and hung it upside down outside but it has been very humid so even though it it mostly dried, I think I will oven dry it the rest of the way. 🙂
I'm not sure if your nip grew back or not, but I try to follow the herb rule when snipping, I follow the stem down where there are 2 more leaves growing , that way 2 more stems will grow back
Grew cat nip in the greenhouse, the cat trashed everything in the greenhouse to get to it .. have potted on all the breakages so all is not lost, excellent video thanks❤
@@monicafarrell6684 lol, its ok. I will say the dried catnip a year later still smells great and the cats love it. I am almost out of what I preserved last year!

@@80sToyHunter thank you. I managed to find seeds for Nepeta cataria also :)

How's the pruned stalk doing? Does it grow back?
Yes it grew back twice before the growing season was over. It is possible to grow inside a house, I’ve just never tried.
@@FutureEyesOnlyI grow mine inside with no lights
How do you do anything with 17inch nails 😂
Lol practice 😹
@@80sToyHunter I just harvested and baked my first ever lot of catnip, cheers for the info
