That looks like tea time right there for me for months. I throw the greens on salads too. And obviously the neighborhood cats as well as my own congregate and socialize around it at night under the lamppost and the butterflies and bees love it by day.😊Great video on a wonderful herb. I gotta upgrade from my foraging basket to your harvest apron👍that thing is cool and holds a lot.
My catnip is acting VERY weird. A brand-new pack of seeds so I tried 3 seeds in a paper towel to no avail. I went scouring the Interwebz to see and tried 12h in the fridge then 12h soaking. After a week in the seed starting mix most of them sprouted then are just sitting there for two to three days now at the same height. I am not sure what is going on with them.
I'm having trouble getting mine to germinate as well. I have the same issue with other tiny hard seeds. I'm going to do a soak for hours then drain to get fresh air, keep in the dark a bit, then soak again... Guess I'll keep trying, I can't find much on germination of tiny hard seeds like you find with large hard seeds where you can score them or put tiny clips on the seed coat so the water can get in... I'm going to keep hunting for the best way... 🙂👍💯🌿🕊️🌿🌾🥀🌱
@@speaklifegardenhomesteadpe8783 My catnip finally died and I could not give enough water, or it was watered too much. I never had this issue with the VERY hardy catnip. I am going to start over this weekend on the heating mat to germinate them and see. Maybe it is a bad batch, but I will use the same pack of seed again to see.
@@generalawareness101hate water when young, 1 day wet -10 dry at least until its two hand big even then only a little not drenched. Then natural cycles worked for me after that.
Mine is being attacks by orange beetles, I’ve been spraying Castile soap….. plants are still suffering also some primrose on my property has the same pest beetle

Thank you for the information. I’m planting catnip this year for my granddaughters cats. I didn’t realise it also had medicinal properties..
Bumblebee love the flowers!
Ive noticed everything loves the flowers. Bees of all types, humming birds, butterflies and what seems like every type of insect.
Love your videos. Just grew catnip this year so your video was very helpful!
Thank you for the excellent information.

What's the spacing between the catnip? Thank you 🥰

Sadly, if these went out the weather is so bad they would drown.@@standardaussie

A+
my cat tends the cat nip plot, i think he planted it? nepita cateria
Do you sell seeds ?
Their website is in the "more" section of this video. And inn answer to your question , yes they do.
Is this sting on skin?
No, not at all. It is like a mint. Not the nettle .
I thought netle, that's why didn't buy for my cat. I have severe allergy of netle. Thanks a lot. ❤️❤️❤️
did you forget the "how to grow" part?
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. He must have been hitting the nip too hard. My cat is the same way- forgets everything he was doing.
