Buongiorno! Thank you for watching. Sorry, there's a little typo in the word OFFIRE, which should be OFFRIRE at 13:04. You can find more of my Italian language phrase videos in this playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLht8tO-11ER4IU4LkzkcEAPsQeuL2gZLI.html
I've always found the difference btw English and Italian in describing food very interesting. In English you have adjectives like delicious or beautiful that translated mean delizioso o bello. In Italian they are both appearance adjectives and they could only refer to the dish presentation rather than how the foods taste.
Salve Kylie! I live in Italy part time -- 6 months in the US, 6 months in Italy, but due to covid, I've been stuck in the States most of this year. I miss my home there so much, and watching your videos helps with my homesickness. Grazie mille!
It's so nice to see a foreigner so passionate about my country! Thank you for showing and sharing your italian experience with the world :) grazie e buon appetito!! :D
You’re incredible! Thank you for being such a light in the world. I find myself smiling throughout the entire videos, as if my heart is exploding with emotion from my chest. ❤️
This is so useful Kylie. You always manage to provide phrases that I have never seen anywhere else. I will be watching it multiple times (as I do with all your work!). Thanks so much.
Greetings from Ireland You are a lovely woman Kylie I lived in Switzerland and it was an amazing experience While I was there I discovered the spirit of Italy from the music I have just found your channel Your videos are like works of art Multo bravo
Thank you for this video! We leave for Cinque Terre & Tuscany in 2 weeks with our children and this was so helpful! I’ve been studying Italian but so helpful to hear the local phrases! Love your cinematography! Grazie Mille!
Kylie, ti amo bella ! I have been debating about what I was going to do for college but I have decided to move the Milan after high school to find my own dolce vita. Grazie molto Kylie. ♥️
Kylie, I've been watching your vids off and on for a year. I love your style and the way you write subtext in Italian. It's very helpful in learning Italiano. I find the way you "teach" is extremely effective. We don't learn language by learning: these are the verbs, these are nouns. No, we pick it up as babies, naturally. When one is more advanced we can learn the grammar. I become flummoxed by the other Italian courses that are online.
You, your character, and your art inspire me so much! Really, more than I can say, I've been watching your videos for a few years now. :) I thoroughly enjoy the cinematic beauty and composition as well as the heartfelt content of every single video you create! It really makes all the difference! I'm a little more advanced in my italian language skills and these lessons help me so much to express myself more naturally when speaking. I'd love more italian lesson videos like this, about falling in love or fighting like you suggested. Keep on shining your light!!! Lots of love :)
Sei sempre fantastica, un empatia naturale, la capacità e la serenità di fare tutto con naturalezza. L'italiano è una brutta bestia difficile anche per noi italiani. davvero brava e ogni volta che vedo i tuoi video mi sento più ricco . grazie
Hi Kylie, I did my field work in Anthropology with Sicilian American fisherman. My thesis had to do with the psychological reality of the phonemic system used by first generation Sicilians who learned Sicilian in the context of formal Italian in Italy vs. 2nd generation American Sicilians who learned Sicilian as a language (much like Frederick the 2nd 800 years ago). So it is the southern Italians and their dialects who will continue to drive you crazy with the hard g in famiglia and no diphthongs in uomo or grazie. Love your stuff!!
I love these Italian lessons they are the most enjoyable way to learn. I will keep watching them over and over to practice I will watch the ads too. I hope there will be more in the future:) thank you very much.
Hello from Australia!! I first want to thank you for making such beautiful videos. I’ve just recently found you and I’m obsessed!! Not only are you beautiful to look at but I can feel your generous heart and spirit from your interactions with the people you meet on your journeys. The reason I’m writing is to tell you that I feel intuitively that if you wrote a book based on your adventures and maybe a few recipes, that it would really do well. I work at a book exchange on the Gold Coast and the Travel stories are quite popular. I’m already picturing your beautiful face on the cover😌 Look forward to watching the rest of your videos.
The quality of your videos are fabulous....great work...great style, shots and stories....love your one on one with people and their stories of adapting to a new life in a land they love...I would think you would get more views but I guess that will come.... keep going...
thank you, Kylie! I'm taking myself to Italy this fall and trying to dust off my one semester of Italian (which I loved, just didn't take until my senior year.) I would enjoy the video on fighting in Italian!
I don’t normally comment but just had to say that even though I’ve studied Italian for years and have been to Italy about a dozen times, I found this video to be wonderful and VERY efficient. Your pronounciation is supurb and the phrases you mentioned are very, very useful. I picked up a few helpful phrases which I’ll use on our next trip to Italy. Thank you for sharing!
THanks. I spend half my time in Turin and, though I do fine, I found this helpful as you are slowing down certain phrases for me. That is, I get the gist of what is being said to me, but I often don't ask my wife/son for exact explanations of fast interactions as even I find it tiresome. Please, keep up this series. In fact, a calcio episode would be greatly appreciated as my son is a true Juventino and when I go to watch his soccer classes I'm lost. :)
Thank you I found this very helpful. However, going forward please make the banner that the text is in darker, or make the words darker. the contrast will make the text more readable,
Great videos, so clear and concise. Thank you so much for making these videos. Very useful for a beginner. Kylie, if one wanted to study Italian in a language school in Italy, in Rome or Torino. Are there any specific language schools you would recommend?
Hello! I've just discovered your channel, very nice content, I like it! I have a question: How/Where did you learn Italian? How long did it take you to speak it fluently like that? I've been wanting to re-start Italian for years but hearing you speak it now is definitely the push I needed!
Kylie, your videos are wonderful! Hoping you (or another listener) can clarify one thing for me. In regards to the statement, “Ma la pasta è fatta in casa?, “ why is it not: “Ma la pasta ha fatto in casa?”? I thought fare uses the auxiliary verb avere (Barron’s 501 Italian Verbs). Thank you in advance for clarifying. Actually, I think I figured it out. In your sentence, fatta is the adjective for homemade, not a tense of the verb fare.
Ciao Kylie. I really enjoyed this video. Please consider changing the background color or text color as I had some trouble reading it due to the lack of contrast. Mille grazie.
Ohh Miss Flavell, yet another beautiful video. I’m envious of the dishes you devoured with a passion. 😍 I can only imagine how entertained you would of been hearing my attempts at Italian while this was playing? 😂 As always keep showing the world your love 😍 You have a lifetime supporter with me, it does hurt my heart that I’m no longer capable of being a patreon of yours and giving the help you have earned with me 😢
Buongiorno Kylie. I found your videos very helpful and educational. I am learning Italian and plan to visit Italy soon. If you haven't done so, would you create a video on getting around in Italy, like calling a taxi, taking bus or train, rent a car, and checking into/out of a hotel. Grazie molto!
Well done Kylie your italian teaching and speaking is better than me and i was even born and grew up in Caserta Campania region of italy .good video and keep up the good work and stammi bene
Ciao io sono da El Salvador ed ho imparato l'italiano da solo, sono seguitore della Pausini dal 94, per me é stato facile imparare la vostra lingua che mi piace tantissimo...mi piacciono tanto i tuoi video...
Kylie, great content. My only critique is when showing the Words/translations the khaki background makes it difficult to read with a white font. No complaints otherwise.
Hi Kylie I share your videos with my community Opua nz and Russell. Look up the images of these two villages here .. as close as we can get to Italy 🇮🇹 Andre Flavell
Kylie, remember: "qual è" non vuole mai l'apostrofo! Non "qual'è", ma "qual è", poiché "quale" subisce un troncamento e non una elisione. Qual è il tuo piatto preferito? :)
Ciao Kylie. Grazie per i tuoi video sono sempre belissimi. How long did it take you before you started being able to talk in italian comfortably? I have been in Italy for 2.5 years and still struggle just using the present tense and a bit of il passato prossimo here and there. Is it normal? When did it all click for you?
Doesn’t vuoi un dolce mean do you want (a) dessert? I thought that would you like (a) dessert is vorrebbe un dolce? I’m a beginner though so maybe in this context it does mean that? Anyway, great video!!! 😊

Ciao Kylie! Also 06:56 qual é goes without the apostrophe. It is something 99% of the Italians would write wrong :)
Lorenzo Cadorin Yes, I noticed after I waited hours for the video to upload! 🤦🏼♀️ Thank you!!
No worries, i tuoi video sono stupendi e sapere che il mio paese viene amato con tanta passione mi rende davvero felice - detto da un expat a Vienna 😊
Congratulations 60k!

One of the best language videos I'v seen. After 25 Italian vacations over 30 years it is still nice to learn some new phases. Grazie Tante.
I love the fact that you are teaching conversational Italian! So much more helpful than just taking a course
You’re incredible! Thank you for being such a light in the world. I find myself smiling throughout the entire videos, as if my heart is exploding with emotion from my chest. ❤️
I am supposed to attend my Italian class tomorrow and your Italian language videos are always helpful and on top of that visually pleasing!
Absolutely nothing can compare to your talent. Outstanding job young lady.
I’m in my fourth semester of Italian and this is what I need to be learning hahaha😂
This making my life!! This video has been waaaayyy more helpful than the classes I have taken. Now I can go to the ristorante with confidence!
This is so useful Kylie. You always manage to provide phrases that I have never seen anywhere else. I will be watching it multiple times (as I do with all your work!). Thanks so much.

I love how I also learned an English phrase here 😅 I’ve never heard “I’ll shout you” in the US! 😊

This is super duper! I never realized Offire was meant to be complimentary-good to know!
"offre la casa" oppure "questo lo offriamo noi" è l'omaggio al cliente
Thank you I found this very helpful. However, going forward please make the banner that the text is in darker, or make the words darker. the contrast will make the text more readable,
I love your video lessons 😊

Complimenti Kylie!!!

More one beautiful video! Tks a lot.
Very Nice
“I’ll shout you” never heard that one before lol.
I'm going to a Persian restaurant for lunch today in London! So excited :)
Kylie, great content. My only critique is when showing the Words/translations the khaki background makes it difficult to read with a white font. No complaints otherwise.
Can you recommend Italian books for learning and maybe some books that has shaped current local’s mindset or perspective? :)
Very helpful!
Thank you! Wonderful!
🍝♥️👌🏻 Gracie
much love.
Keep living the dream. 🌤️

Your Italian is spectacularly good. How long did it take you to reach this standard, and did you already know Italian before going to Italy?
You should do more Italian restaurant revues
Doesn’t vuoi un dolce mean do you want (a) dessert? I thought that would you like (a) dessert is vorrebbe un dolce? I’m a beginner though so maybe in this context it does mean that? Anyway, great video!!! 😊
Bravissima Kylie!
Dove hai trovato la musica? Chi è la band?
