I can say that this is the technological tool that has made me the happiest to date!!! Thanks all developers.

I think a vital mistake here is attempting to make it look human. That is always going to appear creepy, no matter what. Moxie seems like a better approach, although a tad creepy as well.

Over time these things will come down and the more kids that use Milo the more subsidies will be provided for the organisations that use Milo and other assisted beings..

That robot cost waay too much for the average household! Maybe make it affordable and a bit less creepy! Moxie is still a bit expensive but more ideal!

Personally, I don't think robots are the way forward for interacting with anybody, unless of course you want to save money, better to keep it as real and simple as possible...try using animals outdoors.

      I agree.
With The goal to improve interpersonal relationships, it seems to be a sideways step not a way forward and animals, can teach a great deal, it's real interaction with body language and facial expression, and a bond can be formed. Trust built. They won't have a Milo by their side once they leave the school, will people adapt to not having Milo to interact with? Forging a relationship with an animal that has shown them patience and understanding and allowed themselves to be closely observed, is more similar to Then observing a human and recognising body language and facial expression, and having confidence to interact.
I'm not saying this very succinctly!
But, it's might be a useless tool in school to facilitate learning a curriculum, that is positive, but does it facilitate learning the essential skills to be able to be indeoendant in life beyond school.
