In a world where every single new knife design has a million comments, 'It kinda reminds me of... ' I do love original designs that standout, all on their own! Even if any of these more unique looks aren't my particular cup of tea, I applaud the thought & effort to put out something far less derivative. Kudos to the knife designer!
CNC machinist here, those micro textures on the handle do indeed look like a byproduct of just making the parts on the mill. nothing wrong with it, but keep that in mind.

Of the funky form knives that I've seen, this one appears to have the most function. I like that big round pivot area.

Ok can't believe I'm saying this..but anyways lol. That package shipping stuff was horrible. Love the knife especially the blade for 300 bucks. It's like sending an amazing diamond covered in poop. I suppose it doesn't matter, but for the price I expect more
I really like the design, but would never pay $289. But I did pay that price for my Miguron Arma!

Don’t say never. When I was carrying kershaw and crap like that, I never thought is spend over $1000 on a custom. More I don’t buy under the $550 price point it seems. It’s a very slippery slope.
Yeah it’s a cool design, but at this price point it’s destined to go on sale at 50% off when it’s discontinued in two years.

@@mangobadger that knife will never be 50% off (or anywhere close to it). It’s American made all titanium. M390 with a proper heat treat. His other designs are similar and in the same price range and they seem to be selling just fine.

Im goona gripe about “micro milling”…all micro milling is just left over tool marks that they leave on. It takes more work to get rid of those marks. They are using very small endmills to do highspeed toolpaths to get that look. Im personally more attracted to the smooth no tool mark look.
So are you trying to state that micro milling is being lazy and unintentional or on purpose? I’m confused here. As a machinist, I can tell you that microcline in certain patterns take a hell of a lot longer to program than you realize. This is firsthand experience from an actual cnc machinist here who makers items like lower receivers for LWRC and other high end firearms companies.
@@Sleepy_spartan717 not lazy at all , just not the amazing magical feauture people believe it it be. Highspeed machining isnt slow just cuz the tools are smaller diameter. Im a machinist as well, not trying to be preachy or anything. Just that the step beyond this is to remove those marks .
There's a line between what you're describing. It isn't all the same thing. Those little microscopic (i know they arent actually microscopic) lines that I like are certainly different than the small intentional patterns on other knives. I know the difference and I like both. I just don't take the time to explain it every time I look at it
