Thanks to everyone for watching this 6.4 swap it was much needed that 5.7 was getting a little slow so I hadda change it up and get more power 100% much needed!!

Disclaimer!! The “knocking sound” on the first start up was because the engine has been sitting for awhile and it’ll make that noise until oil reaches the top of the engine… the smoke is coolant burning off the headers as well

Well done sir! Just bought myself a -16 392 scat for my 2012 challenger. Going the same route, but i am keeping stock PCM as the one going with the engine is damaged (crashed car). And i dont know compability between pre facelift car and newer regarding cluster and so on. I have heard all the bla bla bla keep 5.7 bla bla if you put cam in 5.7 faster etc... To be honest i want the 392 so i dont give a F..K what anyone thinks is better or not! And the 6.4 IS MORE POWER AND FASTER engine to start of with, bigger valves, way better flowing ports, better intake, bigger engine (size matter, everything else said is not true) Again, hats of!
Did u have to switch your pcm or u kept it stock if u kept it stock how did u make it compatible?

@@dmann5545 it’s a little more than that for 2011-2014. You can’t just plug and play. It’ll be easier on you if you buy the engine along with the ecu, gauges, and dashboard. The shifter too. That way you can swap in the engine and it’ll all be plug and play. You could also just find a 6.4 from a SRT8. Then maybe it’ll be plug and play
