Hi. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I live there until my late thirties when I met my wife. I have been living in North Ridgeville, Ohio for the past thirty-five years. My wife is from Cleveland so I got stuck here. It’s not my first choice of places to live but North Ridgeville is pretty good. My biggest disappointment is that the mountain bike trails close whenever they are wet. They are usually closed from October through April since the trails don’t dry out enough in those months. During the rest of the year it depends on how much rain we get.

@ This year we are getting the snow but the ground has to be solidly frozen before the trails are open. The ground in the Cleveland area is all clay so when the ground is wet bike tires dig in and make ruts. The ruts stay even after the trails dry and it is difficult to smooth the ruts out.
@martinschwartz7342 oh, I know this pain! This year I am helping to groom fat bike trails and it’s a disaster when someone was walking or riding on soft snow…
