a good defensive team, defends with breadth and depth. this would not allow you to move freely in the red zone, in particular, a supply truck would be blown up in zero time, as well as supply drops and airheads. For this the commander, not having the outposts, must rely on the SLs (especially the recons). In this match the opponents were tactically poor, getting outflanked from any point. In fact, in warfare mode, doing this is even more difficult, as both teams try to get around, making the effective front wider than in an offensive match (between not very tactical teams).
@@cesarecasini6265 after playing a little longer and learning from different matches this is an accurate assessment. Just started playing Hell Let Loose. Appreciate you being such a great leader. I only played Officer In Charge on MAG a few times back in the day, but I was always down to squad lead and occasionally platoon lead. I'm excited to finally have a game that fills the hole that MAG left so long ago, and I look forward to learning more and eventually taking up leadership positions myself in HLL.
Great. First I'd focus on learning how the other roles work and understanding how the game works, after that start to do the leadership roles. It's important for a commander to know how everything works, so you can give advice to everyone.
Well This was priceless as a new starter. Played on the free weekend and bought the bundle as it was so much fun. Watching Crane Command taught me more in 11mins than others. I am still finding my feet and seem to be Squad leader as nobody wants that role, or dont talk on the Mic. Thanks again and see you out there.
I'm only level 20 but started picking up SL because yeah! no one seems to want to. I actually think it's a lot of fun coordinating! and not asking SL for a new outpost every 2 minutes lol
What’s crazy is that this commander and his team sound like the Battlefield characters in game when they’re capturing points or engaging in battles but they really doin it fr in HLL😭 mad props definitely getting this game hope to land in a game with this guy
Don't go in as commander in the beginning, get used to being infantry, armor and recon and then commander. You can make mistakes as those three and it won't cost you the match. You make a mistake as a commander and it might. The game is rigorous, but the experience is rewarding. I hope to see you there!
I just started this game and its so fun! I've been doing just alright most the time but I finally had a good performance just now. I just cut the enemy off and stood in a bush. Was taking out their spawns and they couldn't figure out where I was for the longest time. Kept running out of ammo during each life. Wish I had started sooner!
I think rifleman is actually a totally pointless class. Squads are only 6 members so you will virtually never have a use for a rifleman. Support is the same thing as rifleman but better because you also get a supply crate. Just wait until your SL asks you to drop supplies and do it. They will thank you.
@@CrizzyEyes the idea of newcomers using rifleman is that they will not take up classes they are clueless on how to use. Rifleman is helpful if you need a rifle and all other rifle classes are taken. The second unlock for American Rifleman gives a lot of smoke grenades, sometimes that is useful if you need a lot of smoke.

For me, I take very long wide, and not obvious routes. Stay close to hedges, bushes, cover... Don't drive in open fields if you can avoid it. Get good at driving, as in, know how to drive through tricky areas and not get stuck (driving diagonally into tricky areas usually works). If you get shot at, correctly determine where it is from and turn away and drive away from it. At one point I heard a rocket on my right, I started to turn left and narrowly dodged it. Then I proceeded to drive zig-zag to prevent being shot again. The biggest thing is to simply know where the bullets are coming from. hope they miss the first shot, and drive away from them. It works with all vehicles that are not tanks. Red zone garrisons need blue zone garrisons to be effective. You cannot only have red garrisons and expect to win.
