u did use LC on the porsche but not the r8. 911 was at 100km/h when the R8 was at 50km/h, so that was a very bad start for the R8.. it would have destroyed the porsche if u used LC on both cars.
The R8 got ~100 HP more so to make it more fair the 911 started with launch control.
But the real interesting fact here is the engine torque.
yep you right but the 911 is 1585 Kg and the R8 is 1700 Kg so the R8 got more Weight (115Km) Btw both cars are so amazing .

Die Launch Control vom Porsche ist doch nicht normal ey :D Der haut dem Audi ab, mit ner 3 Liter Maschine und 105 ps weniger. Da muss man den Hut ziehen, Geschmack hü, oder hop...

Actually, there are several magazine reviews showing those two cars neck and neck all the way through to the quarter-mile. Cylinder count has zero to do with it

Launched from 6k rpm for 911 and no launch for R8, just mashed pedal from idle. I thought all R8's had launch control but if not at least brake torque it to 2500 rpm and it may have been closer off the line. Porsche is awesome, always fast, and always lighter. R8 crazy top end, V10 sounds better though. I'd be so lucky to drive either of these 2 machines.

Wir arbeiten momentan an einem ganz großen Projekt dacher kamen aktuell keine neuen Videos mehr.
Aber ich versuche mal die kommende/n Woche/n was neues hochzuladen. Sobald das Projekt die Verhandlungsphase abgeschloßen hat und es durchstartet wird es auch hier im Kanal bekanntgegeben. Ich kann aber noch nichts verraten. ;-)

Der R8 hat ja einfach mal ein hartes Handicap. Der 911 ist schon auf 30, da steht der R8 noch.

r8 all day. looks sexier is sexier and sounds sexier. not to mention it has 610hp for 2017. intake with full exhuast and a tune will put you in the mid 10s woth street tires and you can still daily drive it

Turbo und Turbo S erst recht nicht. Der R8 V10+ ja schon beim Carrera 4S seine Probleme ;)
+Choschnebab ja doch man merkt so ab 280-290 holt der R8 so um 1-2 Kmh auf also wenn das rennen noch so 100km geht und der porsche fahrer besoffen is hat der R8 eine realistische chance 😂😂

Den 911er würde ich nehmen, finde ihn schöner und er ist ja auch einiges schneller.
Ich würde den R8 nehmen, der Unterschied dürfte einem im Alltag nicht auffallen. Dafür ist der R8 irgendwie eleganter, der Porsche eher mit Maklerimage. Traue mich fast zu sagen dass der R8 mehr Klassikerpotential hat, da es mittlerweile sooo viele 911 gibt. Der Golf der oberen Mittelschicht dank Finanzierung und Leasing.
Hast Du Probleme mit den Augen....? Der R8 hat (trotz Frühstart des 911ers) diesen eingeholt, einfach mal ans Ende der Beschleunigung gehen und Tachos vergleichen....
Abzug0386 Ja bei 260km/h kommt er langsam, aber der Durchschnittliche 911 / R8 Fahrer beschleunigt meist viel weniger und dann zählt halt die Performance unter 200km/h.

Welches Video kuckst Du bitte?! Der Porsche in diesem Video ist (dank Launch Control) bereits kurz nach dem Start 30 km/h schneller. Bei Tempo 200 (R8) beträgt die Differenz nur noch die HÄLFTE. Der R8 hat also bis 200 km/h deutlich aufgeholt und wäre dementsprechend bei einem gleichzeitigen Start problemlos davongezogen..... einfach mal richtig das Video anschauen bitte.
Abzug0386 Ich habe gerade zwei VIdeos verglichen: Wenn der r8 300 erreicht hat der 911er 273kmh auf der Uhr. Trotzdem gefällt mir der 911er besser und viel langsamer ist er jetzt auch nicht, wenn man noch die Tatsache miteinbezieht das der 911er 50k Euro günstiger ist finde ich ihn definitiv das bessere Auto.

Das gild fur mich auch! Das underschied ist das Porsche ein totaler Sportwagen ist und nur das von das moment dat es auf die Welt kämm und für mich is da auch nur ein richtiger Porsche der 911. Die Cayenne zB finde ich ein höher traverstiet (umdat multitasken etwas weibliches ist was nicht in ein richtger sportwagen gehört) wo gestresste Hausweibe mit 4 kinder auf die hintercouch lebensgefaHrlich viel zu schnell nach die Supermarkt fahren. Entschuldige fúr mein Deutsch, ich bin Niederlander;)!

aha....wovon träumst du nachts? der carrera s braucht 4,5s von 0-100 km/h. Der R8 V10 plus 5.2 FSI braucht 3,2sek. Und komm nicht mit den PS...Der R8 ist ja auch etwas schwerer. Unterm Strich: Der V10 ist nun einmal geiler. Selbst der gammlige GT3 wäre langsamer. Erst der Turbo S wäre 0,1s schneller.
