One on One was one of the first two or three albums I ever bought. I always loved that album. Don't think I ever heard anything other than If You Want My Love and She's Tight live. This is fantastic. Still a couple of All Shook Up tracks too. Great set list. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Fantastic to have another document of the "'One On One" tour. From my teenage bedroom, I could only imagine the shows sounded that summer as I had to patiently wait for our West coast shows fall/winter. The Alpine Valley radio b'cast only fueled my hunger to see CT live again that year. Always great to hear "new' songs featured in the set, They sound powerful...Always associated a High School super crush who ran on the Girls Track Team with "Time is Running" ...Hopefully, "Time" has been kind to her beautiful soul and being.
Sound quality is so much better than radio broadcast from July 3/82 Alpine Valley in WI. Notice how many songs from One on One was performed. Bands rarely play 2 new songs from their latest release if the band has a few releases out.
This was about 2 months before I saw you at the New York State Fair (08/30/82)! Not only my first Cheap Trick show, but my first rock concert! Damn, this brings it all back! Thanks, Bun!
They played the Peoria Il civic center around this time and I was going but I blew it, screwed up and did something dumb, dunno what, got grounded and wasn't able to go....
Bun E, Rick, Robin, Jon, and Phil sounded great and do not disappoint here. Bun channeling his inner Buddy Rich before "Baby Loves to Rock". Interesting, unique take on "Gonna Raise Hell" weaving many references. I even hear a nod to Third Stone from the Sun. Cool drum break brings the song back on track for the finale.Thank you.
Great sounding show! Thanks so much! Saw CT 2x on this tour. Would love to hear a All Shook Up tour show, I remember hearing High Priest live once or twice!
I saw that them on that tour at Alipine Valley. Pretty good show, though the show was almost cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales. However, since it was going to be a live radio broadcast they did it anyway. My only real disappointment was how short the show was.
Bun, who was singing back-up? Was it the keyboard player? I saw you guys promoting One on One at the Topeka Municipal Auditorium. Some @sshole set off a pipe bomb. You offered $100 to anyone who would bring the bomber on stage so you could beat the shit outta him. I'm surprised no one did. Thanks for putting these out. Relistening to a lot of great music and reliving a lot of great times.
A great performance! Great to hear a lot of "One on One" album tracks live which at the time Cheap Trick would be promoting. Thanks for posting!

Fantastic - this set list is tremendous. Agree with other comments here … great to hear the “One on One” cuts live.
My Hometown great show!!!!! First Cheap Trick Album I ever got as a kid
Billy Joe Armstrong wore a 1982 Cheap Trick t shirt in the kive 1992 performance here in UA-cam
Saw this tour is Seattle with SAXON support. Classic!

I remember, finally hearing “ I Want Be Man” live at a July 3rd or 4th show at The Mansion in ‘87 outside of Springfield.
Great show!
Awesome recording. The mix is really good! I saw this tour roll thru Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium with Novo Combo.
July 4th just got a lot better, thank you Bun! Terrific transfer! (Sounds like a little cassette phasing in start). Jon Brant's trial by fire onstage
Thanks again! Awesome to hear so many of the One On One tracks in the set.
Saw 'em a little earlier on the same tour in Omaha. That was a helluva first concert. Thank you for this, Mr. Carlos.
Thank you bunny!
THANK YOU!!!!

I had just graduated high school in Wisconsin, and a couple of my pals went to see them at alpine valley. They took some good pictures.
The Shit 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍

Thanks yet again Bun - out of interest how many shows do you have recorded?
As I understood it, all of them.
