Great info thanks! This is the first time I've heard anyone talk about the ground for the check engine light. My instructions were absolutely useless, but I ordered mine off eBay not Amazon. You may have in a previous video idk, but I think putting up a link to the harness you buy would be a good idea. Set it up as an affiliate link so you can make a couple bucks too.
Thanks. The issue with the harnesses I order is I don't order from a specific company on amazon. They change companies so much that I can never order the same one twice unless I order them close to the same time as each other.
I found a 6L80 core for $300 today. 2015 500 2wd. For my Ls3 Crown Vic swap. I've been finding the cores for a grand or $800. Man $300 he'll yea. Stevie Wounder ROFLMFAO

Good video! Doing an LS1 & 4L60E into a rodeo or Isuzu in America. How did you go about hooking up the White wire in the loose wiring section for your Speedo ? Using a very similar harness. Hello from Aus 🤙
Bro how can I know if my 5.3 with “truck manifolds” will fit my 81 Caballero without trying to make it fit? Or do I have to try to see if it’ll fit first? I’m using ICT BILLET motor plates and clam shells. It’s a g body.
The truck triangle style flanges are little too big for the gbody. Get Camaro LS manifolds, they tuck way better and the flanges are a 2 bolt rather than a bigger 3 bolt style.
I should talk about them in each video of me doing an actual swap. I think the last camaro I did has sections throughout the video and 1 is sectioned steam ports
Do you ever repin the harnesses like some people claim you have to do since the differences in ls1 and vortec engines? Or do you just run them straight out of the box plug in and go

Neutral safety switch is specific to your vehicle. The swap itself doesn't use a neutral safety switch.
Appreciate what you do! Can you make a video on the computer side of the swap?
I don't do anything computer related other than plug the harness connectors into it.
I just got a 6.0 03. No throttle body. Not sure if I need to go drive by wire or cable and what the benefits of each are. Might be a good video.

Nope. Always out of the box. If I put them on Gen 3 truck intakes the only thing I add are Injector adapters
So the long red wire coming from the relay goes to key on 12+?

Doesn't matter what fuse block you use. All harnesses come with their own fuse block
