Hey this Darren Lacue I have a 1985 Cutlass suppose 2day. I'm put a 2005 6.0 in and I have a BOP transmission so what do I need to connect motor and trans together it's a 350 trans
What did you do with the 2 connectors from the factory harness that’s left under the passenger dash where the factory ecu was at? I’m thinking it may be for power windows and door locks. Correct me if I’m wrong.
There is 4 wires going to the the starter and the other wire the comes out the harness it looks like just one wire right behind the 3 wires that go to the starter hope I make sense
Once you strip the factory harness down you will only be left with the wires bulk head brown is oil pressure label all you wires before you start cutting
@@hussleforthemuscle1814 I used quality parts on my swap but cheaper options out there it’s just mix match and figuring out what works together I usually use holley mounts/cross member and headers(headers no longer available) current performance wire harness cheaper harnesses available but I don’t trust them ict bracket’s

The connectors that went to the ecu only control the ecu once you unplug them that’s it windows and locks are on a different circuit

How did you route you obd2 wire through firewall? Did you make a new hole or use existing?
Drilled new hole but you can also use existing hole👍🏿💯
Do you cut off the original fusible links?
No just extended the wire sometimes I do never had a issue either way

You can get a computer from the junkyard or online yes you have to program it
How much you think it’s costs to ls a gbody.
It all depends on the part’s quality of work how functional you want the car to be with the swapped engine
