Yea, we also are a guild that are looking into quality over quantity fights against the odds. Will see how possible it is in this game, some of the cc can just lock you down for several seconds atm without being able to do anything. Smallscale could be rough, but maybe there can be a way, lets hope so!
Hey, i got an AMD 7800XD with an nvidia 4070ti super, 64gb ram (that high ram mostly for doing UE5 editing for fun). performance was smooth on 1440 and max settings other than servers being wonky at very rare occasions and some memory leaks, didnt really check fps, but ye, overall smooth and looking nice if it wasnt for the snow for the whole weekend...
@@CrustyCroco Would you mind checking FPS performance, and maybe at minimum settings as well, if you get a chance? This is for my first gaming PC build - appreciate the help!
@@Avo7977 In a very busy town in the most busy area on the map i get like ~130 fps on lowest settings (still 2k). everything is breaking all the time with the ui and nvidia showing the fps, so its very hard to test for me atm :D on ultra around 100fps same area
You got to find a wild bear, "hunt" it (atm its just a placeholder mechanic petting it to death). results in a chance to get a carcass or a living animal which you then can tame at a husbandry station for 55silver (iirc). 50/50 chance to be a mount or a beast of burden for pulling caravans
Can just somehow give me a list how to spec or sent me a pic for which skills I should go for? U get a sub cause that was my hope. U saw some potential last we but didn’t get the cleric to 10+
Hey, i was using this for solo/smallscale play. For actually focused group healing or pvp you might want to change some skills tho. Was also experimenting with skills and trying out whats working and whats not, so not claiming this is how you should skill. @@CrustyCroco Nono didn’t want a cookie butter build and noch other choice more a red string to go with and then look left and right. But these aoe moments are exactly that what I thought of as I getting higher on lvl
I think you can only use the shield on the melee weapon slot iirc, so if you have a 1h melee you can use a shield there. As range weapon you can use wand + focus for example. So ye, you can use wand + shield, just not "together" on the range weapon slot.
@@bmschlossberg oh i'm using a focus as offhand on the wand, they are just really hard to see visually. i pretty much just went with what i got. for solo single target i like the wand, for aoe the book, cause of the aoe hits. In group i dont like the wand because of the beam animation which is animation locking for a its duration, but the book has aoe and possibly wakes up sleeping targets... I always wanted to try out a spell shortbow, but never got a decent one so far.
@@bmschlossberg Hmm, maybe its only the finishers? Not too sure about it, but i was definitely hitting aoe damage with it. Just rewatched a vod, it looks like every hit on the book is aoe. The aoe range isnt that great, maybe thats why you didnt notice it? And keep in mind that the aoe dmg is always less than the hit on the target you are targeting.
ok ngl , 8 years in development this is not anywhere near good enough from outsiders perspective , now how does it feel while playing is always different but lets see where this goes , for sure if this is what they did in 8 years they need another 5
Yes they still need a lot of time for this being a complete game and there is a lot of broken stuff that can be very frustrating. The foundation is here tho, overall it is playable and i'm having fun figuring things out. I have a lot of patience and played a lot of alphas so i'm used to things not working and server issues. Totally understand if people prefer to not play in this state tho.
@@CrustyCroco I hope it turn out good but I really wouldnt count on it. They got too much money from people who want to play the alpha to the point they could drop the game and take the money. Unless they finish it and sell it for like 100$ total or 20$ per month which is also not a good thing
Yea, people that had high expectations i guess got disappointed. The players that knew what's been up over the years i think had lower expectations and thus are just enjoying whatever they got. The foundation is ok and fun to play if you have a lot of patience, but yea, still way to go.
Do you mean graphics or gameplay? Graphics i sadly messed up settings in OBS for the twitch stream, there is a lot of footage around that shows better things and the latest video is a bit better already. But since it's twitch vod uploads it's still not great quality. As for gameplay i guess it depends what people like and prefer, game still needs a lot of time to be finished and yea it can feel horrible sometimes. The things that work are fun to me tho.

@ in my experience none of the ranged weapons aoe including the book. How are you getting the book to aoe?
