- 'Hazards in the office' was filmed for use as an assessment exercise for a Business Skills programme. It contains 18 separate health, safety and security hazards, some minor and some more serious.

Does copyright infringement count as a hazard?! If so, there's 19! 😆
What an appalling workplace, who is stocking marmite instead of vegemite???
Bloody oath
I have found only 15 hazards...
Hi Khadija. Having looked through this again, I found 19 this time - but some could be seen as the same hazard, so easy to come up with different figures. Anyway, my list is:
Tea towel over fire extinguishers, hiding them
Open bottle of bleach (corrosive substance) left near edge of work surface (spill/poison hazard)
Uncovered food (potential for contamination)
Bag on the floor (trip hazard)
Man puts hand into printer without disconnecting from electricity supply (electrocution risk)
Keyboard operator's seat too low (bad posture causes back and wrist problems)
Passwords left open for anyone to use (security risk)
Confidential document left on desk (security risk)
Electricity lead trailing across the floor (trip hazard)
Phone being charged on floor (possible trip hazard and/or damage to phone)
Adaptors plugged into extension cable (electrocution risk)
Electric heater plugged into extension cable (over-heating/fire risk)
Chair and open drawer both protruding into walkway (trip hazard)
Standing on chair to reach height (fall hazard)
Using steps without a free hand to hold on to rail for safety (fall hazard)
Lifting heavy items overhead (poor manual handling - drop hazard and possible back injury)
Using steps without a second person holding them (fall hazard)

Blocked fire exit
As it say in the note with the video, some are more important than others. Hope this is useful.
