Graduated OCS Class 009-23 with B Co. Weekends being free is highly dependent on the company you're in. For example, we did NOT get any weekend passes until the last 2 weekends and only got our phones on weekends. As strict as the Co. was the Cadre at B Co. was arguably the best to learn from and has the best pass rate at land nav.

A lot of this information is highly dependent on the company, I graduated with B Co., and my experience was a little different.
I heard that Armor and AG were pretty unpopular and easy to get in some cases. The ones that are consistently popular seem to be MI, IN, and SC. But thanks for the video! You came up with some items nobody has suggested and they def sound helpful.

For land Nav write your paces down on paper, and count, I highly recommend counting beads for land navigation courses. You will need a protractor, and waterproof markers. I’ll try to find a video!
