Awesome video Dustin!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Man it takes some years to get these in one collection! Thanks for sharing
I’ve got all of these in just the past few years. I really just started collecting vinyl since 2020. McCartney has been my biggest focus so far though.
Heeeeey Dustin, great video, you are right, the alternative US labels are of interest to us Brits. Ive never seen Wild Life or BOTR without the custom labels so that was great to see. the L.I.L.Y on the Ram is not written on by someone , it's printed on every Ram sleeve. It stands for Linda I Love You. So there you go
Someone else told me these reissues were also available in the UK in the mid-70’s. But that 1980 Wild Life on the Columbia label I’m sure was not. I can’t believe I never noticed L.I.L.Y. before. That is a great Easter Egg. I got to check my other reissues and CD’s for it too. Were they able to make that legible on the CD’s I wonder?
Their brazilian reissues from late 80's to early 90's all have the traditional Apple label. However, Red Rose Speedway still kept it's custom label. Some issues of that period have inverted Apple logos (sliced on side 1 and whole on side 2).
@fbt25 those inverted Apple labels would be interesting.
@@BeatleDustino The White Album, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and Happy Xmas 12" single from that period are some releases that came with the Apple logos on the wrong sides (their track list is still right, nevertheless).
@fbt25 those would be interesting to see. I’ll have to look them up on Discogs.
Nice collection! The UK MPL pressings from mid 70's are also on that Capitol black label.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it. Good to know on that label. Seems most I find around here are from that era.
That L.I.L.Y. On Ram is actually a part of the cover. I only know that because I saw it on both of my copies when I bought them. (An original US and an Australian) and thought it was someone’s writing on it BOTH times. I had completely forgot when I bought the second one and got annoyed all over again, haha.
I was also wondering how many Beatles and solo 7 inch singles you had. Im a big fan of collecting them and I’d like to know what you have.
Interesting to know about that L.I.L.Y. It really looks hand written. I’ll have to check my other reissues to see if they have it too. Can’t believe I never noticed that until I was filming that. Especially considering how often I play that copy. I’m just planning to be cranking out these videos right now. The 80’s vintage collection will be out very soon. Sorry though, no 7” singles.
L.I.L.Y. = Linda I Love You
@fbt25 I can’t believe I never noticed that one there before. It looks hand written. Macca did a good job with that Easter Egg.
Nice paul mccartney records my favourite is Venus and mars
Thanks. Venus and Mars is a great one. Might be why I have two of them.
I'm sure I have a duplicate Copys as well for that exact same reason one was an up grade with all the extras ..Great video 👍
Hi buddy...all good stuff....LILY on RAM stands for Linda I Love You.... I hafta catch up on your vids.... getting the knee better takes time...
@georgearnold8573 thanks. Glad you liked the video. I got both of those Venus and Mars copies fairly cheap too. Probably another reason I went for both.
@jeromeluby787 I can’t believe I never noticed that. I got to check my other reissues to see if it’s there too. It looks so hand written. Hope that knee heals up soon.
