  • Should we share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone? Or only to the people we believe have been chosen by God for salvation? These questions were being asked in the eighteenth century, and they remain important to consider today. In this message, Sinclair Ferguson clarifies the relationship between the doctrine of election and the free offer of the gospel.

It's not our business to try to figure out who the elect are. Our business is simply to do what our God commands and preach the Gospel to every creature and God will save whomever He wills to save. This is how I see Calvinism or reformed theology. It gives me great peace.

      Amen.
Per Jonah 2:9 & Revelation 7:10, salvation is of the Lord.

The problem with this theory [fairy tale] is that it doesn’t solve the problem of the sovereign Calvinist potter Gods decree and unfounded hate which predestines invincibly ignorant “Totally Depraved” people to Hell for no known reason prior to Creation; it still leaves the sovereign Calvinist potter God as a hater of men on the day they are born, men whom he is intentionally discriminating against by refusing to gift/grace them with Faith and regeneration. This is deceitful theology and preaching which paints the GOD of the Bible as a hateful liar who discriminates. Prove me wrong.

You can't have sin in your life. That's how simple Christ's message and push to make every human being whole is.

God doesn’t owe you or anyone salvation
We sinned against him and we deserve to die
He’s sovereign so he can choose to save who he wants and not save who he wants that’s why it’s mercy
Justice demands that we all die
Through Grace and Mercy he saves his people
