that was fun. yes balun and UNUN are bi directional . now you wear looking at it as the antenna side. you need Chuck to re wrap them LDG toroid's . may be why it off some what. also the core type . looks like type 2 power iron in LDG. some of them are all red. my T 200-2 is all red. and it type 2 power iron . rated 30 Mhz. I used that on 9:1 . with antenna and coax the less SWR in coax is less loss in the feed line. when you get a 4:1 down to 3:1 or better the feed line loss drops . more RF in and out antenna. using like a red core may be more efficient but has higher SWR at antenna increasing the feed line loss. when you put it all together the green type 53 power iron wins out with easier tunning and reducing feed line loss. and you get 6 threw 40 meters . I would like to try a 52 power iron on a 9:1 wrap. what I got now I have to E tune on my 7300 to use that . have to get T 200-52 power iron core to try. they make PTFE silver plated stranded wire and it $$ . I wrap RG 400 ABR coax threw a T 240-43 ferrite. made a great choke. did not have a type 31 at the time. I have one I made with RG8X as well. that has a 31 mix ferrite. both work great. wish I had inline SO 239 for 8X at the time . 73's
