I like this. Can you use two of them for a dinning table and how much weight does it hold if you use two of them? I want to make the table top of my dinning table to transform also into a coffee table when not used for dinning.

A single unit supports 180lbs, with 40lbs of lifting support. You can double them up, you just have more clamps to adjust. Hope this helps!

Hey. Great video. Do these allow you to rotate the table top as well?

I have a 2016 International Airstream and was told by the dealer that only the Glorbetrotter model has sufficient metal under the flooring designed to support a pedestal base. Do you have any input on that or suggestions for mounting the base for best results?

Hi Chris, usually subfloors are plywood in the 3/4in range. We'll use either 5/16 threaded inserts with 1/4-20 hardware typically. If those pull out, you could use a larger bore hole saw (2in or so) in the center of the pedestal and install Tee nuts underneath the subfloor... and, if that's not enough you could add some aluminum or steel plate underneath. If you order a pedestal from us, we'll toss said hardware in no charge, just drop us a reminder in the order comment. The base works best with a top around 2x3ft. If your table's bigger, you could double up the pedestals.

Can these be installed in pairs? My current (larger than normal) dinette table has 2 fixed legs. I'd like to replace them with 2 of these, but I'm wondering if they can be moved up and down easily in tandem.

Hi Mary, you'd need to open and close the levers one at a time. But, it'd be possible. We we're planning on installing two of them in our Unimog build, but ended up going with one. How big is your table?
