Since the Bible was removed as a textbook from government schools in the late 60's, test scores have plummeted EVERY YEAR and it had never done that in the nearly 200 year history of compulsory education in the United States. God repeatedly says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom (Proverbs 1:7, 2:6, 9:10, 111:10, 119:99-100). You CAN'T be educated without knowledge, understanding, or wisdom! It is tragic that most Americans and even “elites” that run things have no knowledge that Christians founded this nation or the fact that a ten year study revealed that THE BIBLE was the MOST CITED SOURCE in the crafting of the United States Constitution that consequently resulted in the longest running constitutional republic in the history of the world! Everybody's up in arms about religion being taught in schools.Have you seen where our kids at nowadays? Have you heard of the ten commandments? It doesn't hurt a child, it helps
There is much more to the Bible than just the 10 Commandments. Let’s see, R@pe, Incest, Murder, Assault, idol worshipping, Baal worship, prostitution, offering daughters to be gang r@ped. I’m just getting warmed up. I’m a Christian and the Bible needs to be taught prudently at an age where children are developed enough mentally to understand. A 4th grader will say an “eye for an eye” so I killed his brother like he killed mine. Too many Christians have never read the Bible cover to cover and have no idea what it says and the reason for many stories as they are told. They quote a few good verses and feel righteous.
You have been lied to and have believed in what the powers that shouldn’t be have forcefully taught, which is the state sponsored religion of atheism. It is failing the children and our nation. We need to return to God the Creator, the One named FOUR times in this nation’s Declaration of Independence.

We did not vote for Trump to put religion into schools. Religion is a social topic and we want everything tied to Social Issues OUT of schools. My child is NOT going to be exposed to ANYONEs belief system until they are old enough to decide for themselves and morning "prayers" are going to get LONG once Muslims and Jews start to demand theirs are included...and then Buddhists wanting morning meditation and what if some kid has a parent that is a Satanist? End this slippery slop NOW.

Thank you! I’m Christian. Our county had a big issue with a minister offering pray before a high school graduation. A friend who knows I’m Christian thought I would agree prayer is ok. I disagreed and said then a Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, Satanist can ask for equal time. I would walk out on the Satanist, Buddhist or Muslim prayers at my child’s graduation. For a minute I could tell she wanted to argue and then turned thoughtful. Schools don’t have time for prayers in school. A moment of silence is fine and all that is needed.
@@kenyonbissett3512 Technically we do not even need a moment of silence. Not one of the religions "require" you to pray at the start of doing something. Only Islam requires prayers at specific times during the day. It isnt even a tenant in Christianity that you "have to pray" at night, or during a meal...those are traditions invented by families.

Since the Bible was removed as a textbook from government schools in the late 60's, test scores have plummeted
EVERY YEAR and it had never done that in the nearly 200 year history of compulsory education in the United States.

If the Oklahoma superintendent wants Republicans to lose control of the House and Senate in the next election, he should continue with his “Bibles in classrooms” agenda. Everybody's up in arms about religion being taught in schools.Have you seen where our kids at nowadays? Have you heard of the ten commandments? It doesn't hurt a child, it helps
And that is a personal preference of the parents. It doesn’t belong in school unless the child is going to a catholic school
Crazy how y’all preach the 10 but never actually follow it (Christians commit a majority of crime in the US)
There is much more to the Bible than just the 10 Commandments.
If you wat to read the Bible go the fuck to church. Stop trying to force fiction down people's throats
You have been lied to and have believed in what the powers that shouldn’t be have forcefully taught, which is the state sponsored religion of atheism. It is failing the children and our nation.
